Everytime when I travelled to Nanjing, I stayed in InterContinental Nanjing, and everytime I got great stay experience in the hotel. The hotel staff are very polite and supportive when I needed help, especially the Club staff such as Ava, Amy(or Emily?) who alway keep smiling and like to provide assistance.

I been to this hotel many times this is a great hotel good service, very close to the subway , amazing view on clear day. The inside pool is impressive the breakfast buffet have a lot of choice . The Wednesday expat nite on the 8 floor terrace is very interesting. This is definitely a place I will return on my next business trip.

Hotel and room are very clean. Room was smaller than expected for an Executive Level. Room location is quiet, and view is okay if you want to see the city from a very high place.
Breakfast buffet was good. Lots of choices for Western style and Chinese style. Service staff is friendly with limited English.
Hotel is just outside of Gulou Metro Subway so it is very easy for travel through Nanjing.

Great view in a spacious room with good amenities. I stayed at a Deluxe Lake View, the room layout and the view was fantastic. Only shortfall is the aircon did not work well as I was sweating in bed the whole night. In-room dining and breakfast could be improved both the taste and quality of food. Lack of arrival experience, no guest recognition, let alone Priority Club member. The fact that the hotel is situated in the top floors of a high-rise building, there should be at least a staff accompanying guests after checking in; however, I was left alone wandering around to find the way to get to my room.
The hotel is only on the top floors but definitely not at the top of service.
Overall, I expected more from what I paid for.

It appewrs great on paper, but there are plenty of sour spots. Breakfast quality was so so and variety lack. The service was subpar at the Summit restaurant given steep price charged. The tea is tasteless and overall chef quality is below average. We stayed at Intercontinental HK and their service is 4+, nanjing is 3-- at best.
Interior quality already showed wear and tear, amazing for a new hotel.

I rate the Intercontinental Hotel in Nanjing very highly for many reasons. They include the wonderful staff, who always made us feel so welcome. From the ever smiling doorman through to your fabulously friendly wait staff in the restaurants and lounges. Nothing was too much trouble. We were also extremely impressed with our room which was serviced excellently and was spacious, beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. I would highly recommend the Intercontinental, Nanjing to anyone looking for a Hotel whose facilities and staff would impress even the most fussy of travellers.

Overall the best hotel experience in Nanjing area, great view and great friendly staff that provided unparallel service , very attentative and comfortable.
