I stay at the Holiday Inns a lot because I travel a lot and I really like their hotels. I was a little disapointed in this one for a couple of reasons. I was on the second floor and there was no elevators and therefore I had to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs, luckily a nice man saw my coming down with it and carried it down for me. The bathroom was a decent size accept that I struggled to get around the toilet while getting in and out of the shower. The breakfast was free and that was nice and a good thing because it was not that well prepared. I can say the staff was awesome, from the desk staff to the maintenence men. They were supper nice and made me feel very invited. I would still reccomend people stay at this Holiday Inn because it is a nice hotel, just a few quirks!

We arrived late and stay in a room with broken heater. No heat came out but cold air, so we shut it down. The wired part is the heater make noise every 30 minutes for 30 seconds. The beds were very soft and hard to sleep. My whole family has back pain next morning, even the teenagers. As a platinum member and Holiday Inn Club owner, I made lots of good rating on Holiday Inn, but....

Pleasant staff. Room was clean. Enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant.
For our complimentary gift, we chose 250 priority club points. We have been credited for the stay but not for the 250 gift points as of this time. There was no other recognition for being a priority club member.

We will return. Normally the restaurant is fine. This time the pot roast and pasta dish as well as the breakfast options were not as good as usual.

This was my first time staying at the Holiday Inn on Oneonta, a hotel that was recommended to me by the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce. My stay was excellent! My room was sparkling clean and fresh. The comfortable bed came with a choice of firm or soft pillows, which I appreciated since I don't sleep well when I'm away from home. During my two-night stay at the Holiday Inn, I slept like a baby.
Since I was in the area on business, I appreciated having access to and using the complimentary guest services: a computer, printer and fax. Front desk staff provided the log-in code and password. This enabled me to check email, receive and print a document from a client that I needed to sign and fax back that night. Staff provided a fax cover sheet and faxed the document for me. These are invaluable services for a business person!
Front desk personnel, wait staff in the cafe, housekeeping staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful. Front desk staff suggested I move my car to the back entrance that would be closer to my room, and this worked out great. Food in the cafe was delicious and was served to me quickly when I mentioned that I needed to leave for a business meeting. Housekeeping staff provided an item I had forgotten.
This was a great experience for me, and I will choose the Holiday Inn when I travel to Oneonta the next time.

We have stayed here several times. The staff is wonderful from check-in to the restaurant to check-out. We would recommend this establishment to everyone.
