The performance of the Wireless/Internet (most like internet as I was getting a good signal for the most part) was HORRIBLE to TOTALLY UNUSABLE. I have stayed here just before Xmas and now the beginning of January. I have complained multiple times and it continues to be a huge problem. Needs to get fixed.

Large clean room with good bed, an unusually good breakfast (with bacon and eggs), good wireless, and a shower with great water pressure. What more do you need?

Great place to stay...clean and friendly!! Love the warm cookies at check-in. Staff very friendly and out going. Won't stay anywhere else when we visit our family in Oroville at least 3x a year!!

I have stayed at this HIE several times and it has always been excellent. When I have business in Chico this is the HIE I prefer to stay at. The beds are THE most comfortable. Rooms are always clean and staff is friendly. When comparing prices with other HI or HIE's in the area this one has always been less. This time it was more. Don't understand why. What has changed?

After a really long drive from Seattle it was great to be able to pull in and find easy parking even with the trailer I was towing. The front desk staff person, Skip, was very professional and extremely friendly! He had me checked in within a few minutes, and was able to answer all my questions about my drive the next day. The next morning I was thrilled to find under my door a complete set of directions for my drive the next day. Way above and beyond!!!! To top it all off the breakfast that was served was great, and the attendant in the breakfast room was quite attentive and friendly. This hotel had the comfort that I would expect from any hotel, but had the customer service of a 4 star luxury resort.

At 6:00 am in the morning after we checked in, the fire alarm went off. We were told it was a false alarm. The kids at the front desk apologized but made it clear that they thought it was funny.

The Hotel is like brand new and you feel like you are the first person to ever stay there. Great location with easy access to the Lake and all the attractions in the area. I woke up soo relaxed!
