Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by STEVIEBULL9 WEEKEND BREAK
As experienced by other members we were not allowed to have our Ambassador room upgrade on first night due to lack of availability, we were offered it for nights 2/3 but it meant changing rooms after 4 on second night, and we could not be bothered with hassle of packing and unpacking again, we were offered compo in the shape of breakfast which we were happy to accept. Our main issue with the hotel was that the bar and restaruant do not open on Sundays, the bar also is possibly the worst of any we have seen in a IC hotel, totaly lacking in atmosphere and very similar in ambience to the Perlachaise which we visited during our trip to see Jim Morrisson, Come on guys open on Sundays and inject some life to the place. The concierge staff were very helpfull and told us all we needed to know, even whre to go to eat and drink when hotel bar is closed.

PRIORITY REWARDS PLATINUM AMBASSADOR MEMBER
My Partner and I stayed at this hotel from the 27th to the 30th of April 2013 for part of our honeymoon tour and visit to Paris.
Our stay was exceptional. All the staff were courteous and helpful to a degree One rarely Finds. We were looked after very well indeed with every aspect of our stay. With a marvelous and warm welcome from Stephanie. The room was immaculate and every aspect of our stay met or exceeded expectations.
The hotel has an excellent location near the Champs d'Elysees and the Arc de triumph, and a little brisk walk down the road to the Seine river, where you will be greeted by the Eiffel Tour. Mickael Concierge extraordinaire will get you going in all the right directions, he is very good and has a charming demeanor. It is in a quiet part of Paris with bakeries and various restaurants in walking distance. Across the road is a lovely Patisserie and small grocery store. Within the Hotel is the excellent Restaurant M64.
Overall, this was an excellent hotel and we would recommend it. It is though not the Paris Intercontinental The Grand, which I stayed at previously, you cannot compare them it's like trying to compare The Musée du Louvre with the Musée d'Art Moderne, they are both great but uniquely independent and different.
This year in June 2013 the Priority Rewards club gets a revamp, a new name and new benefits, with some better reward opportunities and will be called the IHG Rewards Club. So look out for those exciting changes. As an IHG Platinum Ambassador, I can recommend this Hotel Highly and the rewards program.

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Karen18 Lovely hotel -- great staff!
We traveled to Paris with a large group and we all stayed at the Intercontinental Paris - Avenue Marceau -- the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the staff is wonderful. The food is excellent, too! We will be back!

Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Saddenedguest Poor Hotel Definitely Not 5 Star
This hotel is the not what the advertising said!
It has to be the saddest Intercontinental I have stayed in.
This was also confirmed by the friends who were staying for two nights. Definitely not five star. I understand this was previously a Crown Plaza and was the Israel Embassy before that.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Champs-Élysées. Service was excellent from the iniitial reception through the help provided by the concierge up the departure. Compared to similar class Paris hotels it also provides very good value for money.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 13-16 March 2013 for our honeymoon and visit to Paris. The hotel has an excellent location near the Champs d'Elysees and the Arc de triumph. It is in a quiet part of Paris with bakeries and various restaurants in walking distance. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous in all areas. Our room was very large (by Parisian standards) and very clean. Overall, this was an excellent hotel and we would highly recommend it.
