Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Not on UR campus-area kind of sketchy The hotel is great- spotless and updated. The staff is great. The breakfast was good (except eggs which all had meat in them-but that's not a problem). The area however,is very sketchy. I thought the hotel was ON campus grounds. It is in fact, across the river from the campus and very much on the wrong side of the tracks. (Some will say it's on campus b/c there is off campus housing up the block and the Chabad house was across from the hotel parking lot. But it's not).The hotel is in a residential area and just appears around a corner. We drove by it and had to back up. Everything around was closed and no one was out on the street. We assumed it was safe enough to park our car when we tried to get Subway across the street (it was closed) and saw a police car stationed in the parking lot. 20. November 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great experience My room was absolutely beautiful, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The view was incredible, and I liked the waterside porch area. The indoor pool and hot tub was also very enjoyable. The only thing that would have been better is to have had shuttle service available later at night and on the weekends. 19. November 2014
Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by A pleasant surprise We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We checked in late, after an event, and the parking are and front entrance were well-lit and welcoming. We were greeted by a front desk staffer that was beyond friendly, informative and kind. The lobby was clean and well-appointed. The hotel features many complimentary items- shuttle within 3 miles, a delicious breakfast, many cozy areas to hang out outside of the guest rooms. The lobby was busy with quite a few meeting attendees, but the front desk staff took it in stride and appeared to know many of the guests by their name or their preferences. The room was beautiful- we were even greeted by a gorgeous sunrise when we woke up. My only complaint is that our schedule didn't allow us a two night stay. Nice job Staybridge Suites Rochester University!! 18. November 2014

Rated 5,0 out of 5,0 by Great location and friendly staff The location is excellent for visiting the University of Rochester or the hospital. The space was very clean and modern. The best part about the hotel was the staff. They were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was very good. This is definitely a very good value for the money. We stayed in a two bedroom two bath suite. 13. November 2014

Beautiful, spacious, clean rooms with full kitchen and living room. Beds were very comfortable. Concierge and staff were outstanding! 8. November 2014
Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 Terrrible I had an issue with parking ad also an issue with house keeping. On the day I was checking out housekeeping came to my door and told me I was checking out today. I told I knew that and she then repeated again to make sure I was understanding her that I was checking out that morning before noon. I can not believe how I was answered by the staff about parking and housekeeping being rude and arrogant. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. If the staff does not improve then there will be no guest. they should put there guest first over any event they might be having. they should block off parking for hotel guest only. 5. November 2014
