I would suggest that the airconditioning controls could be more logical. They are not as user friendly as they could be.

Stayed for a week on business and the location is excellent close to food and major transportation hubs and from a world travelers perspective it is one of the best Hotels on the world.
Simply excellent service.

In a long haul business tour in China, comfort from accommodation is the only we can linger as close as being home. My experience at Intercontinental SuZhou gives me a great deal of comfort in overall environment. Great bedding, and thoughtful details that brings short hours of stay turn out to be a good rest and linkage to home. The hotel is recommended host of comfort for those who are also travelling or tour in SuZhou. Hope you all had the same joy I shared.

This hotel has great facilities, we have stayed there for long time and contacted the sale associates to make a resrvation before getting to the hotel. But the services are disappointing.
1. The front desk staff was answering her personal phone call while checking in customer. And she is not knowledgeable about the confirmation process. I have to wait for long time to check in when I had a reservation. She even called a sale associate for a wrong reason while I have to wait.
2. The same staff put me to a room near elevator when I asked her not to. When I request the change of room, she then put me to a room still quite close to the evevator. I am very disappointed at her professionalism.

Probably one of the best IC I have stayed in, lounge is a must along with sky room and views other the lake.

Intercontinental Hotel invests heavily on making staff accessible for our needs in the lobby area. Staff are eager to help and assisted us for transport needs for our business and recreational needs. I appreciate the consistent turn down service (bucket of ice and recollection of which side of the bed I slept on). Nice touch.
