Friendly staffs. Beautiful hotel in Jinji lake area. Spacious and clean room.

The most striking thing on first arriving at the hotel was the number of times it was necesary to return a 'good morning' to staff in suits standing in the reception area whose only purpose seemed to be to do that. This continued throughout our stay.
We stayed in a suite with a large, comfortable bed and a fabulous view over the lake even from the bath! The room was clean and well serviced although the housekeeper did enter once without knocking and needed prompting to replace teabags and milk from the mini bar.
The Concierge was particularly knowledgeable and helpful when advising on places to visit and the porters were very friendly and attentive and essential for giving instructions to the taxi drivers in Mandarin.
Service in the food and beverage sections was variable, in the lounge bar and restaurants it was necessary to request additional drinks, dessert menus, orders to be taken, although in the club room the staff were very observant and quick to offer additional drinks and take orders, and the food presentation and selection was excellent.
The facilities in the hotel were fabulous although not well advertised, it has a great bar on the top floor offering a balcony view over the lake, but it was not obvious unless you stumbled on it whilst visiting the club room, so consequently it was usually empty.

位置，设施，服务都达到了洲际应有的标准，值得肯定，客房服务很好，有求必应；酒吧的酒保很热情，素质也不错，印象深刻。不足的地方就是全日制餐厅的自助餐不够令人满意，虽然丰富但味道稍逊，真正能调动食欲的东西几乎没有，不过好在中餐厅的水平还是不错，两个餐厅分别提供西式和中式早餐是个很人性化的设计。

During my stay , I required to do some work from my room. Having a robust and reliable WIFI access is crucial factor to my overall stay .
The Wifi access is not acceptable , it is constantly broken. The 1st 2 nights I am not able to properly use the WiFi for work.

I have stayed in the Intercontinental Hotel Suzhou on two occasions in 2013 on Business Trips and I can only describe my experience as Luxury.
The room, amenities and attitude of all the staff are of the highest order. It was good to know that when I returned to the hotel after a long day I would be greeted with a welcoming smile, I could relax with a swim and then enjoy a meal from the restaurant of my choice on site.

Everytime I stay at this Hotel, its like coming home. Wonderful caring staff that remember you and make you feel welcome. Even when conducting business, its always a pleasure to come back to the Suzhou Intercontinental..........

Concierge Dept. - Benson and Ivan in the Concierge Division provided exemplary service no jmatter what the request consisted of.
Front Desk Service - There was also excellent service provided from the front desk by a female employee from the U.K. which is also worth bragging about. She was very courteous and most helpful to me and my husband during our stay at your hotel.

Grate location lots of places to shop and eat with a grate view of the lake Jingi. The rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent.
Highly recommend this hotel.
