Everything is excellent except some noises in the room due to the room location where is near the exit door in one end of the floor.

Because of jetlag effects, sleeping good is paramount to me.
And good sleeping I did, whether I was lucky with empty rooms on my corridor, I don't know.
Of course noise dampening can always be better but for me on the 12 th floor it was ok.

This was the best Crowne Plaza I have ever stayed at and I am a platinum member and have stayed all over the world. I have stayed at all the major hotel chains and this hotel was one of the best. The level of support my wife and I received was excellent from all the staff. The hotel was very clean, food was great and attention to detail and customer satisfaction was outstanding. I stayed for over a week and everyday was as good as the next. The staff in the club lounge was superb and was always there with what you needed and remember your likes and dislikes.
Congratulations on a job well done, thank you and keep up the good work.

The room is simply excellent - spacious and comfortable. The sound insulation is good, the washroom is simply the best I have ever seen, it is large and I can even watch TV on the bathtub! The hotel staff made up my room very well every morning. I like the way they prepared my room that made everything ready around the bed, so I can take a rest very soon when I return. The local weather reminder and the chocolate are also a plus!
The only downside of the hotel is the buffet dinner - it is relatively expensive compared to what it is being offered. The quality and the variety are not that good compared to those IHG hotels in China I have been to before. Probably because it was the Chinese New Year, and not many guests were dining there, most of the time there was no staff around the sushi, fresh juice, ice-cream bars. The feeling was simply not that good.
Other than this I think the hotel is still a good pick as it is relatively not too far from both the airport, bus, and the Xiamen train station.
