Ijmuiden - Seaport Beach

The Holiday Inn IJmuiden Seaport Beach is only 25 minutes by car from Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. The hotel is also easily reached by public transport. By car From Amsterdam/ The Hague/ Schiphol Airport: A9 towards Haarlem. Follow the signs Haarlem/Alkmaar. Take exit IJmuiden. Follow the signs IJmuiden. In IJmuiden follow the signs IJmuiden aan Zee. After 3 km you will find the hotel on your left-hand side. Take the left entrance at the roundabout (entrance parking) From Haarlem: Follow A9 towards Alkmaar. Take exit IJmuiden. Follow the signs IJmuiden. See the above road direction. Mind your speed in IJmuiden, there are camera’s next to the roads! By public transport From Amsterdam: Take the train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Take bus 82 to “IJmuiderstrand” (busstop “Badweg”, 45 minutes.) This is the busstop in front of the hotel. In winter, after 9:30 AM the bus goes straight to “IJmuiderstrand”, otherwise you need to transfer to bus 4 at the “Dennekoplaan” in IJmuiden. Another option is to take the Fast Flying Ferry, which leaves behind Amsterdam Central station. This boat takes you within 30 minutes to "Pontplein" in Velsen Zuid. There you can take bus 4 or 82 to "IJmuiderstrand", which both stop at busstop “Badweg”. From Haarlem: From Haarlem station you can take bus 82 or 4 to "IJmuiderstrand".
