IHG® Rewards Club Platinum Elite members who have earned extra Elite Qualifying Nights can now take advantage of carrying them over into the next year with Elite Rollover Nights; making it faster and easier to achieve or maintain Elite Status.
All Elite Qualifying Nights accrued in excess of 50 nights will be applied to a member’s account towards the following calendar year. Elite Rollover Nights are only valid for the next calendar year.
For instance, you have earned Platinum Elite by staying 70 Qualifying Nights in one calendar year. 20 of those Qualifying Nights will rollover towards maintaining your Elite Status in the following year. This means you only need 30 additional Elite Qualifying Nights to maintain Platinum Elite for the following year.
What do I need to do to start accumulating Elite Rollover Nights?
Just stay at any of more than 4,700 IHG® properties. It’s that simple! Earned Elite Qualifying Nights – both paid Qualifying Rates and Reward Nights – will count towards accruing Rollover Nights. Your Elite Rollover Nights will be automatically posted to your account and will be carried over to the next calendar year toward maintaining/achieving Elite Status.
How do I determine my Elite Rollover Nights?
Your Rollover Nights would be comprised of all your earned Elite Qualifying Nights in excess of 50 from the previous calendar year. Rollover Nights only count for the year after they were earned, so any rollover nights from previous years will not be counted as current Rollover Nights
Do I have any Elite Rollover Nights in 2013?
Rollover Nights are new in 2013, so you don’t have any Rollover Nights yet – but every night you stay in 2013 is adding up to your Rollover Nights for next year. At the end of 2013, we’ll count up all the nights you have in excess of 50, and roll them over toward your Elite Status re-qualification in 2014.
