Stayed at this hotel for two nights when visiting Glasgow. First time staying in Glasgow so didn.t know where to go etc but the staff were very helpful regarding the trains and bus and where to go[More]
and how to get there. The hotel was very clean and warm. Breakfast was good only gripe was there was no bacon, but apart from that there was a good selection of other things. We had a room overlooking a car park so it was very quiet and we slept very well. Thankyou very much Holiday Inn for a lovely stay. [Less]
I always enjoy staying at this hotel, so convenient to the main terminal. However, this time, there were no porters to assist. The young lady who was getting off her night shift, very kindly walked[More]
with me and my bags to the main terminal. As a senior citizen, having a cart to push was not an option. It is very close to the terminal but again, you have to cross two small streets. Getting a taxi seems ridiculous because it is such a short distance away. Frankly, if it had not been for the kindness of the staff, I would have felt very overwhelmed. The hotel is a lovely, clean hotel with lovely people working in it. It is a pity that they have stopped the porter assistance, do not know if this was a government requirement or not but it had a serious impact on whether I should stay again. [Less]
