I always look forward to trips to DC and the Willard. The staff is professional while still being friendly. As I Royal Ambassador I was given a wonderful upgrade to a suite with a fantastic view.[More]
Everyone from reception, housekeeping, the operators on the phone, the bellmen, everyone is so nice. The only downside was the High Tea at Peacock Alley. The tea sandwiches were hard and were glazed over like they had been sitting out for way too long. I was served chocolate scones, now that would be ok for my grandchildren, but not what I expected from the Willard. I asked for another scone, and was quickly given one, but it was not done in the middle, so I could not eat it. I was very disappointed High Tea. However even that disappointment did not ruin my 8 days at the Willard. Look forward to returning. [Less]
