We had booked a three night stay beginning on a Saturday. The hotel car park was full but there was no problem parking close by. The post code for the hotel sent us to the correct area for reception[More]
and parking which was very helpful.
There were no upgrades available for that night as they were fully booked (often so on a Saturday, we were told). The room assigned was a king as requested so we were very comfortable. We had a very pleasant early morning swim the next morning. Breakfast was extremely good even though there were so many guests staying everything was kept replenished and of good quality.
As we went out the next day we inquired if it was possible to upgrade our room to the executive floor. They were happy to oblige so we packed up and cleared our room and when we returned we were booked into an executive room on the third floor with a lovely view of the Welsh hills and because it was so quiet we were even upgraded to use the Club lounge.
The food in the restaurant each evening was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. [Less]
