If you’re flying to or from Gatwick airport, let us put you up in one of our Gatwick hotels. We have 4 hotels located incredibly close to the airport.
Whether you’ve just arrived at Gatwick or you’re due to fly out, staying near the airport doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do. Of course, there’s easy enough access straight into Central London with a direct train connection to London Victoria. But you don’t necessarily have to go to Central London for entertainment or sightseeing.
The beautiful Hever Castle, famous for being the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, has some stunning gardens and visitors are welcome to walk around. You’ll find this just 30 minutes by car from Gatwick airport. Similarly, the Nymans Estate, now a National Trust site, is less than 15 miles away and is again a beautiful place to walk around. It’s made up of stunning gardens, a huge house and ruins, and is open to the public.
The town of Crawley, where a couple of our Gatwick hotels are located, is the closest town to the airport. It’s a great location for shopping and there’s a cinema there too.
It’s not the only town in the vicinity, though. The market town of Horsham is just 16 miles away. As well as its markets, Horsham is also home to a theatre for those seeking entertainment and a paintballing venue for thrill seekers!
All of this within half an hour of Gatwick airport! Stay at one of our Gatwick hotels for easy access to the airport and to fit in a bit of sightseeing in the surrounding areas.
Enjoy convenient Underground links and a relaxed setting at the Holiday Inn Express London-Park Royal hotel, 30 minutes by taxi from Heathrow Airport and less than 20 minutes' tube ride from the heart of London. Easy access to the A40 and major motorways. Hot breakfast is included and available each morning in the hotel's bright, open-plan Great Room.
Staff at this hotel are extremely attentive and helpful. The hotel is fine, a little grubby on the exterior due to the cement works next door. However the sound proofing quality of the rooms is[More]
fantastic - not a sound heard.
Good 3 nights sleep. [Less]
Although we only live locally we were dining out for our anniversary and decided to extend the night with a stay at the Black Prince.
Everything was of a high standard although we should have read[More]
the labels on the pillows as we could have both had fuller ones!!
Our only bone of contention is that we had to pay £3 to park in the huge and mostly empty car park even though we were residents of the hotel, we have never encountered this previously. [Less]
Easy to find of M4. Plenty of parking available albeit expensive to my mind at £12 a night. Bright, clean and welcoming reception area as were all the staff with whom we interacted. Plenty of room in[More]
the accessible room we booked in which to manoeuvre a wheelchair. For once a hotel with two comfortable easy chairs in which to relax. Could not leave the window open due to the noise from the airport but that was expected as this is an airport hotel.
Only real downside was that this was a wheelchair accessible room with a bath (albeit a low one) and not a wet room, my wife would not have been able to get into the bath. However as we were only there one night not a problem on this visit [Less]
