From The Alamo to Sea World and everything in between, visitors to our Holiday Inn® San Antonio hotels will love exploring the city’s most popular attractions. Spend some time on the famous River Walk, an urban oasis that wanders along the San Antonio River and features quaint cafés, great restaurants and bars, as well as tranquil waterfalls and lush landscapes. Be sure to stroll along the river banks as the sun sets and enjoy its picturesque bridges illuminated with hanging lights.
While you’re here, pick up something spicy at bustling Market Square, a popular Mexican-style market close to our hotels in San Antonio, and quite possibly the largest of its kind outside of Mexico. No trip to this city would be complete without seeing The Alamo, its most famous historical setting. And the kids will love to meet the many creatures that call SeaWorld San Antonio home.
If you’d like to get off the beaten path, this city is full of surprises… all served up with plenty of Texas hospitality. It was really nice to have the suite with the separate living area from the bedrooms. We did utilize the kitchen a few times which was very convenient. There are only 2 chairs for eating which is not[More]
enough for a suite. The hotel is very close to Sea World and Six Flags but we didn't visit either. Swimming pool was OK. Outdoor patio furniture was nice. Breakfast was good. Not just ceral and bagels but eggs, sausage, texas shaped belgian waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Overall I thought it was a little expensive but no other hotel offered the suite. The staff was very good. Very helpful and prompt service. [Less]
"Outstanding Accomodations with Friendly Staff and Great Service"
My stay at the Five Star Candlewood suites was made possible by the friendly staff and great service. The main staff member who was extremely kind and helpful during my stay was a young man who[More]
worked in the afternoon and evening shift. He gave us excellent directions on a map to the River Walk, the best place to park to be close as we are senior citizen and can't walk too far, gave us a card and said if we got lost to just call and he would get us back to Candlewood suites. He also gave me information of the improvements of the missions I had seen in the 50's. His knowledge was valuable, because I am going to plan another visit to San Antonio with a dear friend in Austin, TX sometime soon and I know exactly where we are going to stay. Thanks Candlewood suites for making my stay so memorable. [Less]
