When traveling solo I like to get some good rest and stay active, usually by going for a run around the neighborhood. Eating healthy is typically a challenge. The first morning of my stay I asked the[More]
front desk about running routes. I was informed there was a group run leaving in 10 minutes. Awesome - Scott, the hotel manager was guiding the run! They take wellness serious here from top to bottom of the organization. Other mornings I used the beautiful gym - loved the great treadmills. Food was good and tasty. Beds comfortable. Exercise equipment in the room is pretty unique - there is a great variety of exercise routines on the TV suggesting uses for the equipment.
I look forward to my next stay! [Less]

supreme service/attention to customer (treated more like true GUEST service). Outstanding experience in every way. Kristen Garrett, Guest Relations Manager, took the time to personally inquire as to our experience soon after check-in and during our stay. We could not have written a scenario of a better stay. Expectations are high when you stay at a "top rated" establishment so the slightest issue can be disappointing and we were satisfied beyond our high expectations. A friend who had recently stayed elsewhere in D.C., commented that he had seen the Willard and commented that we had gone "FIRST CLASS". I told him that until you actually stay at the Willard you can't really appreciate the FIRST CLASS experience of staying in D.C. [Less]
