We stayed a night in a King Suite.No problems until we went to bed & discovered that the mattress topper seemed to contain a layer of plastic which rustled every time one moved & caused the sheet to slide & ruck up - like sleeping on a plastic bag. Much worse, however, was that the plastic was not "breathable" which made trying to sleep a sticky, sweaty experience even with the noisy A/C on full all night.
When I complained as we left I was told they knew of the problem & were going to do something about it. I did not receive an apology. If you don't suffer from incontinence I suggest you stay elsewhere.

Plus: Friendly, professional staff. Quiet room. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Minuses: Sheets not taut (lumpy mattress cover). Quality for value not as good as other Holiday Inns I have stayed at. As a preferred Gold member, I was disappointed that I was not acknowledged and did not receive the usual "treats" (i.e., snacks and a beverage) normally given.

This was advertised as Alamogordo/Ruidoso however it's about 50 miles from Ruidoso! They do not have any Holiday Inn or the chain in Ruidoso!

We stayed here at the last minute and ended up staying for 6 nights. The staff was very accomodating and very helpful. Housekeeping (Bonnie) was wonderful and made our stay very comfortable. It is near all the eateries and very quiet even though it is next to the highway. Felt very safe, even coming in very late a couple of nights. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone for a quiet time. It was worth the money!

Stopped by with the wife and three kids. Easy access to White Sands National Monument and the missile range. Well taken care of with the exception of the rewards program. A sign recognizing their support of the rewards program was proudly on display. Sadly, I saw no benefit. No check in benefits. No other benefits like other Holiday Inns.
That said, it was a great stay.

I wasn't sure what to expect, not having been to New Mexico before. I have to say that the staff at both check-in and at breakfast the next morning were absolutely fantastic! They were friendly, expedient and just very welcoming. Being a platinum member, I was given a room upgrade without asking and the room was awesome. Very clean and comfortable. One of the better hotels I have stayed in and will definitely be back! Thanks!!

While I may be spoiled by expecting a snack and water at check-in, this hotel did not offer anything. Nor did they offer anything extra throughout the stay. I was very disappointed.
