Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Willk Faucet in Bathroom
The only thing I might complain about it the faucet in the bathroom. It is very difficult to move to hot or cold. I had to use both hands to move it.
the rest of my experience in the room was very nice. Comfortable bed, great view of the mountains, the mini bar, the location.
All in all I would recommend this hotel highly.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EventShooter46 Great hotel and service.
We make it a point to stay at Holiday Inn Express when traveling because we always have a good experience. During our current travels the Albuquerque Midtown was the best of the ones we stayed at. For the price of the room it was much nicer than the other ones we stayed and got the feeling we were being hit with higher room rates than normal, almost double what the Albuquerque Midtown charged for much better accommodations. My wife and I recommend the Albuquerque Midtown. As a qualifier to this review we must say that when traveling we never have a fixed schedule of where we will be so we tend not to make reservations ahead of time and we've never failed to get a room at a Holiday Inn Express. Overall, great chain.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smallnavajo Great stay during business travels.
This is the only hotel I reserve when business traveling to or through Albuquerque. I continue to experience its great friendly staff, clean atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and nice quiet property. (I once fell ill during my travels and one of the maids brought me water and checked to see what I needed. What an angel!) I also like that Apple Bees is located near, just off the parking lot.
Important: Upon making your reservation, see how you can earn 5,000 points! Usually you have to pay the regular rate, if you're a member, its worth it!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by kandkfox A few disappointments...
I've stayed at several HI 's over the years. Overall this venue was as expected, however I was disappointed in two circumstances.
1. I asked the front desk evening woman for two regular coffee packets and was told she didn't have any. I asked her three times and by the third time was ignored by her.
2. When I arrived home on the day I checked out, I realized I had left my laundry bag with a weeks worth of soiled clothing in the room. I was informed they were "lost" and no real attempt was made to locate it for me.
On the POSITIVE side...both my brother and I were impressed with the initiative, cheerfulness and genuine concern for our breakfast needs by the kitchen woman (Tanya). She is a definite asset to your company

This was the first time the clerk did not acknowledge I was a member of the Priority Awards. No bottles water or a snack. I was kinda disppointed. However, I did not want to make a scene and just left it at that. Very disappointing...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Henri012 Holiday is In!
Holiday is my choice above all other hotels because they meet the quality versus price that I seek. The quality is very high and the price is affordable! I always shop for the discounted room, but only with Holiday Inn. They have yet to disappoint me. I have been using them exclusively for 10 years. Before that I shopped around and found nice hotels at a nice price. But, Holiday Inn was the best of the bunch... and is even better now!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Poppychild A home away from home.
Moving across country was stressful it was such a relief to have a comfortable room waiting for us. The staff was exceptionally helpful. This is the only hotel in Albuquerque, NM that I would recommend to family and friends.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by NMfan bad experience at check in
I'm a platinum member but I was made to wait a long time at check in. No-one aplogized for the delay, no-one even acknowledged my membership, not even when I gave them my platinum membership card so they could find my reservation.
I was not offered an upgrade or told that they were sorry they couldn't give me one. I've stayed here recently but they didn't welcome me back. Both receptionists were yawning, moving in slow motion and acting as though they had been working 24 hrs without a break.
The location of this hotel is very convenient for my plans and the rooms are fine (apart from the noisy AC right by the bed# but I will stay slightly off my route next time and go to one of the other HIEs in Albuquerque #I've stayed at 3 other HIEs in town and received a much better welcome).
