Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TexasRoadRunner Most Comfortable Beds in Texas
I am a frequent traveler, spending between two and four nights every week on the road, primarily in Texas and Louisiana. I can speak with authority when I say that this place has the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. And I mean comfortable. I get the best nights sleep whenever I stay here.
Being on the road a lot, I also appreciate the proximity of this hotel to the major highways. I'm not here for its convenience to Cowboys Stadium or Six Flags, although I'm sure that's a perk for those on vacation. I initially chose it because I can quickly get in and out and be on the road headed to my appointments, rather than wading thru heavy traffic. That and there are plenty of restaurants close by to hit on my way in at the end of a work day.
The staff have always been among the most courteous I've encountered. I've never taken advantage of the breakfast, so I can't really comment there. Plenty of parking, even for my monster truck and trailer.
I would most definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in the area.

I am surprised to hear about the comments regarding the renovation. I have been staying at this hotel for 5 years now and will never switch. The same team that I met on my first trip is still there, which is rare in all the hotels I visit.
I think the renovation looks great and will continue visiting! If only I could take the cinnamon rolls home!

They were in the middle of doing renovations, which ment that the workers would wake us up at 6 am working right outside our 2nd floor window. They need to update the insides before they update the outside! the beds were severly worn, my wife and I were thrown together becasue the king bed sunk in the middle, 6 inches lower than the sides. The shower had holes in it. when we checked in the clerk was very unpleasant, made me feel as though I were bothering him, even though he knew I was a gold member.

This was my third Holiday Inn Express stay in a row on a business project, with this location being inferior, the first two, excellent! I booked this location online with my credit card as a Priority Awards Member. As I had been robbed in a previous city, I had no I.D., but a valid copy along with the police report and replaced credit cards. Even had the front desk person call the first Hotel that I stayed for four weeks. I understand rules are rules, but when you make a single female sleep in her car until 3:00 A.M. for other arrangements to be made is downright ridiculous and dangerous!

Really nice hotel. the place looked like one of my video games-long halls and nice carpet! Very cool! The hotel and the rooms are clean, clean, clean. The breakfast room was big and the food was good. Staff is friendly.
Priority rewards: newspaper I guess. Seems to be one every morning at my door. Very easy to get to 6 Flags. I would give the place an A.
