Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Everyone was so friendly To celebrate my 60th birthday we had a family vacation in Aruba - a total of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children). I loved Aruba and was very pleased with the HI. How could you not - 3 beautiful pools and one of the nicest beaches. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a small fridge BUT we were not in the room much. The staff was so friendly as were everyone we met on the islandAruba is certainly One Happy Island. I would stay at the HI again. I especially loved how the hotel was centrally located - we walked to everything and felt safe at all times. April 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Price, Excellent Location My fiancé and I had an amazing stay at the Aruba-Beach Resort and Casino. The price was excellent for the location of the beach and shops! Our favorite spot was cabana number 75. The staff is really friendly and are willing to help out. We would recommend this hotel for those who want to spend their money on food, souvenirs, and excursions! April 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 35 visit to hotel Too many trainees at front desk with no mentoring. Ask same q uestion and get 3 different answers in one hour. Signing up for hut should go back to morning. Sun is hot in afternoon, no time for shopping downton or go to bingo. Many guests did not know how to get a hut. Turn down service is lame. Hershey miniature, create a logo chocolate for hotel, it will help your image. Food service is poor at best. Too much confusion at bar for seating, actually saw a fight. Birds flying around, question sanitation. New manager did a lot of walking around and talking with employees. Did not like policy of cashing one-$100 traveler check daily. Nice beach staff efficient and commuicative. We meet friends there from NY every year for two weeks. We are beginning to look for a different hotel. April 6, 2013

So glad to see the activity and work being done, last year concern re property being sold check in: 1 couple in front of us, Alan pulled us out of line to check us in; confusing with 3 consecutive reservations d/t multiple awards/rewards but he put everything in place. had to check in & out 3 times, each time very simple and quick. stayed in Bonaire tower, dated and no view....over the casino roof but not there for the room nor view...could see the blue sky and water before heading out each day. as always, beach wonderful, reserving a hut not a major issue; favoriet huts in front of curacao tower being repaired so a bit busier than we prefer but still enjoyable only negative, at plat level, did not get turn down service last 2 nights (just a nice perc and always bring the candy home to the grands) already planning next year's stay.... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Most welcoming staff anywhere! Our best family vacation ever! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had friends in Aruba! We arrived looking a bit rough after some unexpected travel delays. Lila and Allan greeted us at the new Priority Club Members' check in desk and made us feel instantly at home. Our room was ready, our Platinum status was recognized and we were offered fruit punch at the bar. The vacation was already at full speed! I can't say enough about the attentiveness of the staff. This was our first trip to Aruba but it will defnitely not be our last. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat! I was nervous about the wifi signal due to some reports that it was slow and intermittant. I required my laptop for work throughout my stay and never had a single problem with connectivity or speed. If you have been saving your Priority Club points, this is the place to spend them! If you don't have enough yet, this is the place to earn them! March 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't want to leave..... My husband and I recently booked a trip to Aruba for 7 nights at a small B&B in Savanetta. This B&B looked great on Tripadvisor. However, when we arrived at 5PM, the "B&B" was nothing like it was described to be. So much so, that we wouldn't even say one night. Needless to say, I was in tears. I had dreamed of Aruba all my life and couldn't wait to begin our dream vacation. Luckily, we had rented our car independently, outside of the B&B offer to rent us a car, so at least we had a car! At this point, we needed a place to stay. We called the Holiday Inn Resort at Palm Beach, as their website said they had a vacancy. We spoke to Allen at the front desk, and explained our problem. He said he had a room for us and we should come right over. Upon arrival, Allen gave us a beautiful room, on the 6th floor, with an ocean view, balcony overlooking the pools and Palm Beach. We couldn't believe our luck. Allen did not overcharge us, even though we were a "walk-in." When we walked into the room it was clean, cool, modern and had hot water in the indoor shower, something the B&B didn't even have. This was our first time at the Holiday Inn Resort in Aruba. The resort is beautiful! We loved the check-in area, with open wooden slat walls, allowing the breezes to flow through the entire first level. The main level is filled with beautiful shops, excursion desks, a small food store, a bar, with beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the grounds, and even an intimate and fun casino. Everyone was extremely courteous and always smiled and said hello. We went to the "Sea Breeze" restaurant, one of 4 restaurants in the resort, for a late bite. It was now 9PM, and we hadn't eaten since noon. The Sea Breeze had a great menu, beautiful location right on the beach, with lovely breezes. The food came out fast, and was delicious. We then began our vacation. The Holiday Inn Resort in Aruba is right on Palm Beach and you can see the beaches and gorgeous ocean from the pools, which I loved. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves for all seven days at the Resort. Our room was beautifully cleaned everyday, pools were immaculate and it was obvious that maintenance at the Holiday Inn is first and foremost. We ate at local restaurants and enjoyed the nightlife right across the street from the hotel with great bars, restaurants, a creperie, a movie theater, and a water display. We went snorkeling and swam in pools and in the bluest of blue ocean everyday. There are colorful boats in the water, people windsurfing, beautiful boats, and kitesurfers. The colors and warmth of this beautiful island and resort are amazing. One of the best features of this hotel is that the beach is so accessible. Other hotels have you walking half a mile to the beach, which we find annoying. At the Holiday Inn Resort, you literally can get out of the pool walk 6 feet and you are on the sand at beautiful Palm Beach! Upon speaking to one of the managers about how much we were enjoying her resort, I mentioned to her that we were at the resort celebrating my birthday. The day before we were leaving, we returned to our room, after touring the entire island, to find a bottle of champagne, two champagne glasses, and a beautiful cheese and fruit plate waiting for us in our room. That thoughtfulness meant so much. We plan on coming back to the resort again and again, and plan on bringing our children and grandchildren with us. Thank you Holiday Inn Resort in Aruba. We have traveled all over the world, but our vacation at your resort was one of the best vacations we have ever had. March 11, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beach Front location We had a marvelous vacation at this resort. Large private rooms with a fridge. Balcony with a water view and table and two chairs. Great location to catch the sunsets. Food choices could have been more plentiful. We found ourselves walking to other hotels as the hotels waterfront restaurant was closed more than it was open. However, you need to visit the Pelican's Nest right on the beach for the best drinks and dinner around. Wonderful place on the pier. We will be back to visit again soon! February 19, 2013

Didn't much care for the beach umbrella reservation system, but had a very nice time at this location. February 7, 2013
