This is a very nice hotel! Best fitness center of any Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in by a landslide. Lots of space and friendly staff!

THis a great place to stay. It is close to the Detroit Airport and provides hourly shuttle service to the airport.
You can stay and leave your car for a nominal fee.

The female @ the desk upon our arrival was very nice and helpful.. She does go out of her way to meet your needs as necessary.. The rate given was way more than the Woodhaven, MI rooms.. Also my discount was not granted @ this hotel but is at other Holiday Inn Express's.. The pool area was short on towels, pool water was chilly and also our children found a few bugs/water worm like creatures in the pool.. A gentleman came to look @ it but was told they were not bugs.. However, he didn't even use a net to bring them up from bottom of pool nor did he come back to follow up.. We were disappointed due to the kids wanting to swim and that was the whole purpose we rented a room.. I feel we should have been offered some type of discount or an apology from management or someone.. The jacuzzi jets on the left side were not in working order so I also let the front desk know bout that as well.. Other than the few issues listed above, it is a clean hotel and staff is friendly.. I also requested a roll away crib/pack n play which we received and was in newer condition and clean.. That was greatly appreciated especially when you have little ones..

At the last minute we needed to reserve a room close to my mother-in-law's funeral/church. Called to ask if we could check into our room early due to travel, change our clothes and unload vehicle. We were able to do that and acknowledged immediately as a PC member at check-in. Staff were all very kind. Under the circumstances, it was an extremely pleasant stay.

Good location (about 15 minute from airport). They were changing carpets out so things were a bit out of sort but staff was nice and room was fine. Looks like a nice pool area as well.

I couldn't have asked for a more professional staff. That includes the front desk, van driver, housekeeping, and friendly breakfast attendant. All these individuals seemed to take their jobs seriously and professionally. Kudos to all of them.
My only complaint about this property -- and I doubt that it could be rectified without major expense -- is structural. The noise from the room above me, from the guest walking across the floor all night (I honestly have no idea what was going on), sounded like he/she was coming through the ceiling. This went on for at least two weeks. I was on the second floor, so whoever was in the room above me would come into the room at about 10 p.m. every night (after I had fallen asleep), and walk across the floor untill well past 3 a.m. I don't know if he/she was exercising or what. I slept with ear plugs, but still the low frequency noise from the walking kept waking me up most of the night. I decided early on not to move since it is such a hassle to have to repack two dozen dress shirts and pants and move rooms. That was a mistake I will never make again.
Outside of that, the hotel is great. The wooden floors are obviously in need of repair. Even a walk down the hallways will reveal this.
Even with the noise, the rest of the hotel and staff were so good I am still rating the hotel as a 9. Next time I will make sure to get a room on the third (top) floor.
