Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Choice We were in town visiting our daughter and grandchildren over New Years and chose this hotel based on positive comments on Trip Advisor. From the moment we walked in the door we were warmly greeted and quickly checked in. We booked a one bedroom suite for our extended stay.My first concern is cleanliness , the room and all areas of the hotel we visited are top notch. The living area is roomy and comfortable as is the bedroom area. The bathroom is a little tight but more than workable. We had breakfast at Baxters three or four mornings, service was great as was the food. Overall we were completely satisfied with with this Holiday Inn. Although somewhat farther from our daughters with closer hotels to choose from we would return to this property. January 17, 2013

Excellent location across from the airport and attached to a full service restaurant. I stayed at the other Holiday Express in town and that one made me appreciate this one all the more. This hotel was much better than the sister hotel across from the Walmart. I had a memorably horrible experience there. I will recommend this hotel as the best holiday inn in Bloomington. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Customer Service We were staying just one evening. Got up to the room and apparently the room was not "ready". The bed was not made, etc. I called the front desk and they immediately apologized and upgraded us to a King Suite. Overall the stay was great. January 2, 2013

All the accomodations, both the room and the party area were excellent in all catagories. The hotel is exceptional for cleanliness. Staff is very attentive. Highly recommend it. December 14, 2012

We were celebrating an early Christmas with our kids and had a very enjoyable time. Fun was had by all. It was quiet being by the airport. December 3, 2012

We appreciated the kind staff & easy check in/out process. I like the suites because they have both a fridge & microwave and we found the beds very comfortable. Great location & great hotel! In the last 16 years I have stayed at almost all of the hotels in Bloomington, however, since the Holiday Inn at the Airport opened I have become a real fan of the hotel, the facilities and the staff - it is now my hotel of choice and one that I measure all other hotels against. I have seen the hotel grow in popularity because of the experience when you stay there – as much as a hotel can never be as comfortable as your home, the Holiday Inn at the Airport is consistently as close as I have ever experienced. Yes, there have been a few hiccups over the many years as you would expect, however, these have been addressed immediately by the management team who have also taken actions upon my suggestions for improvement. Overall I am very pleased with the hotel and the staff and also pleased to be able to reflect this in this review. November 26, 2012

We came to Bloomington, IL, to look for housing as we would soon be relocating to the Bloomington area at the end of May. I must say that our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. We arrive early morning (around 1:30 a.m.) and the from desk attendant was there waiting our arrival. He gave us complimentary snacks while promptly checking us in. We had a Standard King room which was very clean and well appointed with a bathroom with fresh towels (soap, shampoo, etc...), a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a very comfy king size bed. The Hotel is conveniently located across the street Bloomington Airport and just down the street from Veterns Parkway (Hwy 51) which has several eatries and shopping center ( mall, walmart, etc...). We really enjoyed our brief stay. October 27, 2012
