Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice staff, but. . . this place doesn't rate well with my experiences at other Holiday Inn Express locations. First, my room was across from the vending machines and elevators, so there was constant noise all night. I could hear people talking as they walked by my room all night, and EVERYONE walked by my room. Next, the toilet had to be flushed at least three times to empty the contents. Very, very slow. Also, the sofa in the room appeared to have had a heavy weight placed in the middle. No matter where I sat, I slid toward the middle. Spend a few bucks and get a decent sofa! Next, the breakfast was by far the worst I've every had at a HIE. The sausage gravy was lukewarm, the bananas had seen better days, there weren't any hard boiled eggs, and the layout of the breakfast room was the most inept I've seen. It certainly wasn't as inviting as other HIE. This place is way overpriced for what is given. Never again. On my next trip to Cadillac I'll stay somewhere cheaper. I doubt I'll notice much difference in the amenities. HIE is always by first choice when I travel. This, however, was a huge disappointment. I'm just glad I was there for only one night. May 13, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by guest amenities I forgot my toothpaste and went to the front desk to ask for it. The is a sign in the room stating if you forgot something Holiday Inn would provide it...such as comb, razor or toothpaste! Upon arrival to the desk I was told that there was no toothpaste. The front desk did look for it...but none to be found. I was told to drive to the grocery store down the road to get some. This was a huge inconvenience as I was already in for the night and had to go back out. These items need to be readily available for your guests, April 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Holiday Inn The best Holiday Inn i have been in!!! Service and price was excellent! Will recommend to anyone in my adventures! April 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great time. We were visiting our daughter 's family and meeting our newest grand-baby in Cadillac. We had lots of fun at the pool with the 3 older grandchildren ages 4 to 10. Our younger daughter decided to come at the last minute and the staff brought us an extra bed even though it was later in the evening. The breakfasts were great - loved the pancake machine April 3, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Try Harder I have been using Holiday Inns for 15 years through my business and do hundreds of stays per year. I was very disappointed with my stay at the Cadillac Holiday Inn. No phones - internet slow and working off and on - no acknowledgement that I was a Priority member - my price went from $120.00 - $88.00 by mistake because the lady at the desk didn't know how to handle the computer. The breakfast bar opened at 6:30 instead of 6:00 for some reason. No perks for being a customer. Very little service from the staff who seemed to be pre occupied with other things. No muffins or cookies in the foyer. Felt very unwelcomed. Made aware of the lack of phones after I booked the room. Exercise room had supplies in it. The hotel did not live up to the standard of Holiday Inn you expect as a paying customer. Too many other hotel options out there to be this sloppy with your hotel. April 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everyone is always very nice! I stay here all of the time. I like this place, they have gotten to know me. I like the hot tub and the pool, I wouldn't stay if there wasn't a hot tub. The surrounding are is fine, I just wish there were more dining options within walking distance of the hotel. Obviously Holiday Inn has no control over this. Like I said, I am here all of the time and will continue to stay with them. March 31, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Too loud and no control over kids. The hotel was full of young kids on a hockey playoff weekend. We love kids but parents/hotel staff allowed them to run around like wild indians, play indoor hockey in the stairwells, run up and down always screaming and slamming doors. This went well into the evening, beyond 9;00 pm. Didn't appear as the hotel management was going to try and do anything to quit the place down. It's great for kids to play but we don't understand why the families were'nt put on the first and second floor and leave other guest on the third floor for peace, quit and relaxation like they pay for. Truly disappointed, worst stay we've ever had a Holiday Inn or any other motel for that matter. Truly hope we don't experience anything similar to that again. March 9, 2013
