Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, Awsome staff We arrived to the hotel during the early evening. Upon entering we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. Room was excellent. All staff members there were incredibly nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was incredible as well. Close restaurants, Walmart is accross the road, movie theaters are walking distance, and border is very close. The up keeping of this place is great; spotless. Thank you Holiday Express Staff! I began to find the hotels around El Centro being sold out and the prices increasing so thought I would give this one a try. Glad I did. I enjoy my stays here because of the restaurant next door and if you are feeling adventurous you can check out other ones in town. March 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a consistent experience I've stayed here for many years on business travel, often bringing foreign customers for business meetings across the border. The hotel is always clean, quiet, with a great breakfast that is always on time.. The staff has always been helpful with special requests. Only problem here is the slowest elevator in the West, although it has been working on the last two trips. Many restaurants nearby. Easy access as you arrive in Calexico March 21, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Combination of Value and Proximity This is a great property to stay at if you are doing business at the border or in Mexicali. It is only a few miles from the crossing and there are a number of places around to eat. Applebees is right in the parking lot or you can drive a few miles North into El Centro for more choices. I stay at this property frequently and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The building does not have a grand lobby or anything like that but it's always clean and maintained. Breakfast hits the spot and is a great place to meet up with my coworkers in the morning. I keep going back because it's a good value and comfortable for business users. January 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent staff, especially Anna Beautiful entrance. Beautiful and competent Anna to greet you. Caring and competent staff. Spotless surroundings. First-class portions and quality food at the breakfasts, except for the "ham" slices, which were too thick, undercooked, sub-quality ham-terrible, and most other folks felt the same. The gentleman who is the handyman around there is very courteous, very hard to tip, prompt and always visible. He is excellent. The manager's door seems to be always opened and he is usually visible. The grounds are always maintained. The Wi-fi is sub-par, but because they have ethernet connections, it didn't bother, or affect me. My two week stay, was the most I have stayed anywhere without going bonkers. Love the Latino majority in the area, but wish they could either teach me Spanish, or learn some English. The kids in the area, mostly Latinos, are beautiful, but litter too much. Love the ease of getting around Calexico/El Centro. Wouldn't go to Mexico on a bet. God bless America! January 30, 2013
