Had great rest here. Convenient to plantations, restaurants and downtown as well. Cleaning staff extremely helpful. I ended up sick and spent one day in bed. They were very kind to my husband with clean towels, coffee, etc so as not to disturb me.
Only problem, the breakfast and one staff member. Cold eggs, no meat, no fresh fruit and she said it was "meatless Thursday." Same on Friday. Other days everything kept hot and meat offered with enough fruit to go around. Actually seemed maybe the food was going home with someone.

The staff was amazing. Each person we came in contact with was outstanding. The location was a great value versus staying in the downtown area for visiting all the stops in Charleston.

close to all the great shopping and restaurants of the meeting and market street area...without the high price charge of hotels in that area.

I arrived in Charleston after a 12+ hours drive. Needed a clean, comfortable place to relax for 2 days before I started my new job. Staff was cheerful and very helpful. Room was clean - bed was comfortable. Breakfast choices were ok (would have liked to see more fresh fruit) - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I was in town for a week because of a death in the family and have to say the Holiday Inn Express staff were a group of "Can Do" people. Any request was granted and with a smile and the attitude of the whole place was a positive one. Management and staff all seem to work together for the comfort of the guest - a sometimes rare thing in hospitality. The Inn itself was neat, clean and quiet and I will definitely stay there again.

Pleasantly surprised with the property. Excellent friendly staff . I haven't stayed at this property in a few years and I did not expect the updates.

Nice hotel located next to Ruby Tuesday which when on business travel is convenient. Nice walking/running trail runs behind the hotel about 500 feet back. Get to it from a side road.
Only issue was the broken elliptical. Let me know they need to fix it. Pet peave of mine at most hotels. No one ever seems to keep on top of it.

I was traveling alone for the first time, also my first time to Charleston. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They called cabs for me, recommended restaurants I could walk to for my dinner ( to the point of printing out menus for me) and made it possible for me to take a bus downtown, much less $$ than the cabs. I would not only recommend it to friends, I would definitely book with this hotel again in the future.
