I couldn't have wished for a better stay at the hotel! After a 3 hour drive with two children, we arrived tired and hungry and a little bit stressed! That all changed as soon as we entered the hotel. We were checked in with ease and given all the information needed for our stay. After settling in our amazing family room, complete with seperate room and TV for the kids, we went for a relaxing dip in the lovely pool. Then after getting showered and changed in our room, we decided to go and get some food. We ordered, and within 3 minutes (no exaggeration) the food was set infront of us, steaming hot and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the serving members of staff. We all had a great nights sleep, and breakfast the next morning was easy and stress free before we set off for our day out at Chessington. Fully reccommended, easily the best family orientated hotel we have stayed at.

The Good
Absolutely Great Rooms, clean, big, themed bunks and the view...wow. Imagine the kids faces when they looked out of the window to be greeted by a giraffe, zebras and an ostrich!
The terrace at the back where you could get close to the animals is super.
Service at reception was super, very attentive and friendly.
The Not So Good
We had booked a double room interconnected to a twin room and were assured this was guaranteed. We ended up in two doubles not interconnected. No possibility of a swap as the hotel was full. Not ideal with small kids. Having said that the hotel gave us all a free breakfast to say sorry.
The breakfast when we got there was ok, but getting there took half an hour as the "Q" for the restaurant went all the way back to reception.
Would we go back. yes we would, we will phone in house reservations to make the booking though and go to breakfast outside peak times

Arrived to a friendly welcome from the front desk, given room numbers and had a nice room overlooking grounds with animals roaming, kids loved it. Went around hotel facilities and out to grounds with animals, was able to go onto a viewing platform reasonably close to the animals.
Had a wonderful weekend with children in hotel and park. Hotel was very clean, staff very helpful especially the waitress in the hotel restaurant who was very helpful and pleasant and food was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night as my daughter & son in law had their wedding reception at the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We ate a good breakfast in the morning before spending the day in the park. The staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

We checked in and enquired about making a dinner reservation with the receptionist who told us to go to the restaurant & make a dinner reservation with them. We did this and we were told there was 530pm or 9pm. It was 515pm as we'd been in the park til then, so there was no way we'd be down in 15 minutes & 9pm was far too late for my 6 year old daughter. We were never told on making a booking to make a dinner reservation before we got to the hotel. We were told there was room service or bar food.
We were alittle disappointed not to be able to dine in the restaurant.
We checked into our themed room, which was really lovely. My daughters part of the room was fab & she loved it!
We went and had a swim in the leisure club which was nice. It was lovely and clean& it wasnice to look at the giraffes and zebras through the windows.
We did go down to the bar area around 7pm and luckily there were tables left, so we had dinner there. The food, wine & service were good.
It was nice to take a walk outside and see the animals after dinner.
Breakfast the next morning was good. Having King Julienne from the film Madagascar come round was the highlight for my daughter!
All in all, a good stay
