The air conditioning unit was VERY LOUD and the moisture level in the room was terrible.
I had to blast the air to keep the humidity down but the the incredibly loud air conditioning would crank and wake me up every 20 minutes (no exaggeration).
•The beds are fair but the pillows are poor quality.
•The bathrooms were immaculate.
•The breakfast was delicious.
•The wait staff was friendly, pleasant and professional.
•So other than a terrible nights sleep I would recommend this place. Bring ear plugs...

Was in Crockett Tx for business and was pleasantly suprised by this Hotel. The Hotel's condition and attentive staff were awesome. I will be back soon and look forward to staying again. Great example of a quality Holiday Inn Express!

Staff is super nice. That's the only nice thing I can say about this hotel. Rooms are WAY over priced, rooms will cost you $30 more than other Holiday Inn Express. Fitness area was closed (was told for over a month). There is a swampy smelly area between hotel and parking lot, watch where you step. TV had very poor picture quality, definitely not HD, several channels were missing. Towels were very rough and scratchy.
You'd be better off driving a little further to Huntsville, Lufkin or Palestine.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BSDA two night stay at Crockett HIE
We have stayed at this hotel now at least 7 times. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. We feel that the hotel is somewhat over priced for the area.
We were disappointed this time as the breakfast buffet was poor both in selection and in quality of the food. The young lady in charge when asked for things, like sausage patties, brought out 4 of them. It was as if the breakfast items were coming out of her pocket. A breakfast served from 6 to 10 AM was practically empty at 8:30 AM. The cinnimon rolls were empty, she threw away the empty plastic container and they were not refilled in the time we were there. The buscuits were like rocks and the sausage gravy was going sour.
We will stay here again perhaps this was a fluke. As I said the hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by blahblah Great facilities but staff was repetitively difficult to work with
The first problem i ran into was trying to get a block set up for my friends and family. It took a couple weeks for the receptionist to send me the block info form that I had to fill out. Then I was able to fill out the block form. A month later I found out that the block had expired before we even stayed at the hotel. I understand if you are only allowed to block for 30 days but then I should have been informed that I should only block within 30 days prior to our stay at the hotel. It was a very confusing situation. Once I found out about the expiration I told all my family and friends to book their rooms individually. Supposedly they had no issues there.
Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms and service was great. But the preparations leading up to it were quite difficult. I would have gone somewhere else but there really isnt any competetion for holiday inn in the surrounding area.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Snoopy61 Nicest Holiday inn Express we have stayed in!
We arrived late and very tired. The front desk lady (Carly) provided us with bottled water and fresh baked cookies. Our room keys were waiting for us and check in was quick. This property is a nice little gem deep in East Texas. We come to Crockett to see family and look forward to staying here again!
