The management of this hotel just forgot about the comfort of the guests are their priority. How can be possible that the A/C system doesn't work at all??? even the fan wasn't working, and the staff excuses was that outside was cold!!!... In a tower with glass facade, at noon the temperatures inside the room could reach over 28C degrees, doesn't matter if the staff feel cold or hot. So, I should guess this hotel is about to satisfy the staff and not the guest!!!... and even worst the linen was stain in something red, that we would like to think that wasn't blood... Terrible management and even worst staff... impossible to recommend this hotel to anyone... I didn't feel like being in a InterContinental Hotel...

Upon my arrival, there was no luggage available. The front office told me that I booked 2 rooms and I will be charge for rooms. Of course my reservation was done for 1 room. The room itself was nice and spacious. One of my belongings went under the bed so picked up and of course the carpet under bed was very dirty ( hair needle from the previous guest).
For lunch I choose the Chinese restaurant. There was no guest an I hope could have a attentive service. I was wrong. No one refill the hot water for the tea (Is normal in China).
The evening I choose the bar in the 2nd floor. The selection of beverage been fine and in order, The payment was not in order and to the standard. Why cashier staff is more interested in the IPhone as towards the guest? The invoice was not presented in a invoice folder and with a Intercontinental pen. Instead it was a kind of Hello Kitty pen.
I ordered roomservice for breakfast. I received a congee and noodles.
Normally it should be served with a minimum of condiments, such as Pepper/Salt, Soy Sauce, Vinegar, Toothpick. Nothing from the before mentioned items been on the tray. Hot dishes should be served in a heating box and not covered with plastic foil.
Concierge staff was the only professional department in this hotel. The food quality was good.

My wife and I stayd in this hotel from APR07/13 to APR10/13. The hotel has reasonably new outlooks, the rooms were spacious,clean, and well layout, comfortable beds, huge bathroom space and work area for a standard size room. The only improvemment I can sugest is to increase the ventilation of rooms especially during evening hours. Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and imformative about things around Dalian. There are enough staff with good English if you do not speak Mandarin. Hotel staff we encountered were genuinely nice, a quality in my opinion are increasingly becoming rare in business. Money well spent for us.

Staff training is needed ASAP. FO - lack of greeting and smile. No sense of welcoming. FB - lack of knowledge on menu, present a wrong bill. No management present and staffs are standing around in groups chatting with each other. Definitely not 5 stars IHG service. One positive note, HSKP is 5 stars! attention to details and shows care. Thank you

This was my first business trip to China and if this hotel is a measure of what to expect, then I hope there are many more. The hotel staff (all disciplines) were polite, courtious, and welcoming; was a real pleasure to return to the facility after a hard day's work. I've stayed in many good hotels worldwide and this certainly sits high up the list - considering the overall cost. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the hotel swimming pool added a welcome distraction. Overriding memory though after my 3 weeks tenure is the friendly smiling staff - you should be proud.

By this stay, an Internet service became the free of charge.

The room is very big. But the aircondition didn't work for the first one, then changed to another one. But the second room was full of the tobacco smell and can't stay even.
So bad experience. It is not InterContinental, even worser than express.

我12月31日晚入住到这里,由于入住较晚,我们想请门童带我们泊车,但该店比提供这个服务。要自己去把车停到地下车库。奇怪的是在没有入住之前我们就得不到进入车库的门卡,门前的停车位很少,临时又停不下,真是很奇怪的方式!与我在各地入住的洲际有很大的区别。其他的服务也感觉不到我们到其他洲际酒店的那种美好。我市第二次入住这家酒店,整体而言这个酒店在退步,我想这可能跟它的体制有很大的关系!
