The staff at the front desk were very helpful! They offered restaurant choices, sightseeing tips, and arranged our taxi pick up.
Breakfast was nice to have as an option. Good choices available, fruit with warm and cold options.
Also appreciated the informal book exchange. After finishing my novel on the long flight over it was nice to be able to pick up a new book and leave mine for someone else to enjoy.

Overall a great place to stay. The directions from the train station were somewhat confusing, but we found the hotel with a little help. Being on a quiet street so close to the Royal Mile was great. Our room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed being able to access the internet. We were a little too close to the stairs where some children were allowed to run free one night, but otherwise had a wonderful stay. The breakfast area and food choices were especially good.

We enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh at this hotel. It is in a great location just 5 minutes walk away from the high street. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a lift to all floors. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only thing that was rather disappointing was the breakfast. There was a good choice but it was all rather cheap ingredients and looked like the cooked sausages were frozen and together with the scrambled egg were microwaved. No bacon!
However this didn't put us off too much and would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked through the door. We only had 3 days to explore Edinburgh and the location was perfect. Vicki in particular was very helpful and pointed us to the best sights to visit and assisted us with check in for our flights when our phones failed us.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, just what you needed after a day of walking around the city. The only thing missing was a mini bar!
Would definately come back. Thank you for a great stay.

Close to many attractions in the old city, and able to walk to central transportation hub. Front desk staff were very helpful.
Television reception could have been better, but the overall experience was good.

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He made arrangements for a taxi and breakfast for the day of our very early departure. He also provided us with tea and biscuits after a chilly afternoon of sightseeing.

Hotel in great position in middle of city. Good rooms, clean, quiet and reasonably equipped. TV offering is bad, few digital channels, not even Sky or BBC news, bizarre.
Don't know why as a Platinum card holder you have to get new WiFi passwords etc each day for the 3 nights stay???
Staff very friendly, breakfast good in a nice environment.
Good basic hotel that suited our needs for a relatively short stay.
