Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Smoking?? I usually have no issues with my stays at Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites but this was quite a surprise. I had reserved a no smoking King suite witha jacuzzi tub. I had driven there from New Jersey and wanted to relax after a 7 hr car ride. As soon as I opened the door I smelled an strong smell of cigarette smoke. Since I was so tired I tried to go to bed but even the bed sheets had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk but unfortunately the told me they had no vacancies. I took a clean t shirt and fell asleep. When I woke up i saw that the carpets had many stains and even the sofa that was in the room reaked of cigarettes. I had booked the room for two nigts but I left that morning. April 28, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not really a busniess traveler type of place. Property is large for an Express and the internet pretty much came to a stand still from 8-10pm. Lots of kids running the halls through the evening and crying in the halls during the morning. The water park next door is great for families but I'll be looking for a different property next time I'm in Erie for business. March 31, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not impressed Recently stayed for three nights...even though I am a PLATINUM LEVEL MEMBER, front desk would not arrange to have my room serviced until the checkouts were done...what about taking care of your current guests before future ones? Breakfast room was a zoo with very unfriendly looking staff...no smilies....parking was poor with no separate reserved spots for overnight hotel guests...only two luggage carts that were hard to get... Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible from the start The trip started horrible at the service desk with the girl that checked me in. I didn't get a Priority Club bag or was I asked to spin the prize wheel. I left for dinner with coworkers and came back and asked about the wheel or if there was a goodie bag - all I wanted was the water and I was told I spun the wheel when I checked in. I said no - but whatever. She was just rude from the start. Checked in the room and the bed was so soft or broken - I would have had a better sleep sleeping on the floor. Breakfast is usually good - but it was 915 and nothing was fresh - I could have used the english muffin as a hockey puck. Very disappointed as I usually stay here often on my travels for work.
