Relaxing after a tough day Check in was almost instant (all my documents were pre printed) I asked for and got a 1st floor room. The breakfast was real good Super quiet Easy to get to April 8, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service! The staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Freeport, Maine were so friendly and helpful. They provided us with a quick check-in, advice about shopping in the area and directions to two local businesses we wanted to visit. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast area was lovely and there was a good variety of foods from which to choose. I definitely recommend the hotel! March 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Special treatment for our 34th anniversary My husband & I truly were grateful for the upgrade to our room, it made our anniversary one to remember. The suite made us feel so at home, plus the experience for Gilbert was the hot tub, he had never been in one so enjoyable. Even though we live up the road from Freeport, this Holiday Inn will always be our destination for a quick get away. We live with our children, so we are sure they will enjoy the silence in our get aways. Thank you again, Gilbert & Susan Cano March 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Internet the only real issue I stay at this hotel often. My only real concern is the VERY poor internet speed. For a while, the scratch card internet access went away. During that time, I found the speed of the internet was much better then with the card access. either way, the speed is much slower then other hotels I stay at. so much so, that it is almost impossible to load any sort of video or movie. once the internet speed is fixed, this hotel will once again become my top choice for the area. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Clean Upon arrival gentleman at the desk was not very helpful almost mocking I would say. I asked him about how I can check if I was a reward member. (Years ago I signed up and had lost the card given to me). He said he had no Idea but I could go on line and check. I did not have laptop or electronics with me. Told me to call 1-800-holiday. I asked about if there was breakfast. And he glared at me like I was stupid and pointed to the direction of where they serve and said there might be a sign. Not a very good start but we went to our room 329. He told me to use the stairs. I asked about an elevator and he said it was too far from the room. We did. Later on we found the elevator and it was not far at all to the room.. Happy to say never saw him again. The room was a King and was very clean. The cleaning staff excellent. Our door would not close to the room and with in 10 minutes it was working perfectly. He was so helpful. The room is uptodate. Pool clean and spa sparkling clean. Coffie was very good. I stayed 3 nights and ate twice at the complimentry breakfast. Feb 15, 1st day no food out and bagles were hard. The girl finally came in and refilled the food but by then we all were leaving. day 2 however was excellent, the girl was very professional and quick on her feet. P.s. I still don.t know if I am a member still or if it expired or has changed.. February 17, 2013
