Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel with friendly staff After my trip to Glasow and stay in holiday inn express. The location is ideal. The accommodation was nice, staff were very friendly and helpful. staff work hard to ensure everything was to the highest standard. Price was good too. May 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service, only one concern The staff displayed some of the best customer service I have ever experienced (especially the night staff/security who could not have been any better). My only negative about my stay was our room was directly opposite the lift which wasn't too bad however we did seem to be extremely close to some sort of generator which went off approximately every 2-3 mins constantly though the night (I don't know if this continued throughout the day). Otherwise a friendly, clean and comfortable hotel..... Again customer service which was amazing 5 stars and a wee smiley face to you all! May 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Location Right at edge of Merchant Quarter where many newish pubs clubs and restaurants are. Just down from George Sq and St Enochs. Very clean rooms on the smallish side but very adequate typical of a HI express. Staff were very good , pleasant and very helpful. Did not try breakfast. Will definitely be back as the price, location and comfort are all good. May 8, 2013

In all of our stays, I have to say the staff were amazing they were so helpful and they always wanted our feed back to make our stay even better, but to be honest we could not fault anything! Even when it came to me saying I have not used my loyalty card because I was not sure what it was, the girl at reception explained all! Full marks to all your staff we had a a very welcome over night stay! May 1, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cooked Breakfast -Poor Selection On each of the two mornings that I stayed at the hotel the cooked breakfast selection was scrambeld egg, sausage & baked beans - no bacon, no fried eggs, no cooked tomatoes. Also the scrambeld egg was not always available . The bedroom was large with a sofa & double bed & was heated by a under powered air conditioning unit. The room was never comfortably warm in damp days in Glasgow I will not be back nor recommend this hotel to anyone April 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the money I have read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel and I fail to see what people's problems have been. Initial greeting from reception staff was very welcoming. My room was ready even though I was early in arriving. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. I would definitely stay here again April 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No wifi in patient rooms and terrible location Terrible location. Had to park several blocks away and then pay $10 for doing so. Wifi did not work in rooms and would only work in common areas when the night manager linked me to her iPhone wifi. A April 22, 2013

Room was very clean & comfortable, the check-in and check-out was nice & easy and the breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend staying here for short break. April 18, 2013
