travelled with my friend for ladies what do lunch shopping trip. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Dinner on our 1st night was tremendous we both ate too much and had to fall into bed (it wasnt the free wine with the meal honest!) Breakfast again lived up to our expectations. However the fruit cake served with our afternoon cuppa(in with the deal) was very dry and we couldnt eat it. Not a problem the lovely waitress(Bedija I think?) provided us with homemade shortbread which more than made up for it. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming especially the girls on reception.Weather was beautiful and it would have been nice to enjoy our cuppa outside, maybe in the summer months a couple of table beside the flags would be nice.
Overall a very enjoyable stay Definitely stay again.

My wife won a break at Holiday Inn Harrogate last year and we really enjoyed it so we decided to return for my birthday in May.We were not dissapointed,it was as good as we remembered.From friendly efficient check in staff,lovely clean comfortable room and attentive service in the restaurant to the nice little touch of a card and tin of fudge left in our room for my birthday!! We will definetley be back.

My recent stay in the Holiday Inn Harrogate was very pleasant. This is certainly one of the more modern and well equipped Holiday Inns. It features modern well furnished rooms and very pleasant public area. Of course, Harrogate itself is always a very pleasant place to visit.

Public rooms very modern, but bedrooms a little outdated. Nevertheless. our room was very spacious and kept very clean and tidy. In room tea and coffee facilities were provided, but there were no biscuits included and no hot chocolate, which we thought was a little miserly. The included breakfast was very good, but we didn`t eat other meals there because we thought it was too expensive - a common experience when using large hotel chains. Car parking at the hotel cost £5.00 per day, but is very secure and was well worth the money bearing in mind the hotel`s proximity to the centre of town. The staff were generally very obliging and we would definitely stay there again.

This Holiday Inn is in a great location, has lovely helpful staff and is very clean. The parking was really good and as we had a hire car it felt very secure in the underground car park. Our view from the 7th floor was amazing.

Arrived last Sunday evening after a long day out in York. My wife and I were greeted by and excellently attentive receptionist who is worth her weight in gold. Room and service was excellent and as a Platinum member I've stayed at many Holiday Inns. This is by far one of the best I've used. Although this was the first visit to Harrogate we will definitely be using this hotel again. All Staff met where outstanding. The Hotel, Although old by some comparisons, is well maintained and has an excellent ambiance. Possible only criticism was that there was no music in the bar in the evening. However, this is minor given the hotel is very well maintained, situated and well worth the visit. Being just a short, 5 minute, walk from and abundance of restaurants in town is an added bonus. Overall this was a 5 star visit for us and we will definitely be returning.

we stayed over the bank holiday weekend and had an enjoyable weekend. We had two rooms booked for us and our 2 friends, our room was adequate but our friends paid the same as us and received a much bigger room with a king size bed! We did not want to make a fuss{even though it would have been nice to have a room like theirs} and we had no problem with anything else. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and you could even choose your pillows which were brought up to your room as soon as you requested them which was a nice touch. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.
We liked the idea of the car park as it was secure and only £5 a night for guests.
We would definitely stay here again.

I can only commend the Holiday Inn for the level of their customer service. Everybody I came into contact with was helpful and cheerful. The food was just average, although I did enjoy my freshly made poached eggs and toast at breakfast.
The building however is a little dated, as mentioned by other reviewers
