Walt Disney World is best known for its four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The first park to be completed, Magic Kingdom is home to Mickey Mouse, Cinderella's Castle, the talking Tiki Birds and the world-famous "Pirates of the Caribbean."
Completed in 1982, this park is divided into the World Showcase and Future World. The World Showcase features separate country-themed exhibits on France, Canada, China, the United States, and Norway, among others. Future World focuses on science. Its exhibits include Imagination, The Land, The Seas, and Innovation.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Added in 1989, Disney's Hollywood Studios celebrates the glory of the American film industry. Attractions include Hollywood Boulevard, the Back Lot tour, Lights Camera Action stunt show, and a variety of live entertainment and movies.
Disney's Animal Kingdom
The most recent Disney park to be completed, Disney's Animal Kingdom gives visitors the opportunity to take a real Jeep safari throughout the park's recreated African savannah.
Visiting Walt Disney World
The parks of Walt Disney World are located about 40 minutes away from Orlando International Airport. Many Disney vacation packages include transportation to and from the airport, or visitors can rent a car from one of more than a dozen car rental agencies at the airport.
The park features a convenient Disney transportation system that connects the theme parks, the Downtown Disney shopping and dining plaza, and the water parks.
Admission to the Disney parks is sold via individual daily tickets, good for a single park, or three-, four-, or five-day passes that allow guests to go back and forth between parks during the ticket period.
A trip to Walt Disney World is a must for travelers of any age. Although the complex has plenty to offer kids, the "young at heart" will also find things to intrigue and fascinate them at the four theme parks.

We stayed here 6 nights, April 12-18 during the kids' spring break. Our 2-bedroom suite was quiet, comfortable, and had ample space and amenities. Front desk always went the extra mile to be helpful[More]
and were very friendly and professional - Bob and Jeida are fantastic! The breakfast buffet was great - exactly what we needed, lots of choices, not an extra cost, and we didn't have to order it so it saved valuable morning time. Marlene in the breakfast area was very pleasant, professional, and speedy. I love a suite when traveling as a family - we all sleep a lot better and can save some money and refresh our energy by taking a late afternoon nap/swim/meal break and then back to the parks for the evening. We asked for a quiet room when booking so that we could be sure to have quiet during any late afternoon naps. If you are going to go to Universal as well, it's a reasonable distance there too. Good pool - we swam every day, and enjoyed the saltwater. Free parking. Right across the street from a large Winn-Dixie grocery store and a Walgreens. And go to Giordano's (a true Chicago pizza chain that happens to also have a few locations in Orlando) which is the other direction across the street - their pizza is amazing, but first get their menu from Bob at the Staybridge front desk and then call 30-45 minutes in advance to order your pizza if you want to get a deep-dish. The Staybridge is the complete package, we will absolutely go there again. [Less]
When you first arrive, you'll notice that the hotel is very well located and has very good parking. What i liked the most is as I entered the front doors, the front desk staff is eager to help you.[More]
They'll make sure you have all you need and know where you are staying. There are different things to do around the hotel like a gift shop, swimming, and a fitness room. The beds are really GREAT and you have a choice of a soft or a firm pillow to use.
Love the restaurant food court style for breakfast. You can even order room service. [Less]
