Bottlenose dolphins, Beluga whales, manatees, and of course killer whales are just a few of the marine animals you will discover on your visit to Sea World in Orlando, Florida. Home to one of the largest collections of birds, fish and sea life in the country, Sea World’s 200+ acres offer ample opportunities for guests to get up close and personal with a variety of creatures.
Sea World offers a wide range of attractions, shows, exhibits, rides and experiences, and there are plenty of choices for visitors both young and old to touch, feed and learn. Sea World works hard to make the world under our oceans come to life, and choosing what to see and do may be one of the hardest parts of any Sea World visit. Here is just a sampling of what Sea World Orlando has to offer:
Shamu’s Happy Harbor: Named for the original and most famous of Sea World’s killer whales, Shamu’s Happy Harbor is a children’s area which offers the Shamu Express, a small roller coaster, several other small scale rides, a net climbing feature, and a water play area.
One Ocean: Check out this exhibit for an up close view of killer whales and the many tricks these incredible creatures can perform.
Dolphin Cove: Don’t miss this opportunity to interact with the most playful of creatures. Watch the dolphins at feeding time and check out the newest additions in the Dolphin Nursery.
Stingray Lagoon: A fully interactive touch pool allows guests to feel stingrays as they glide by, learn about newborn rays and even feed the rays by hand.
Rides, Shows and Special Experiences: Rides and roller coasters abound at Sea World and even the greatest thrill seekers will find something to suit their fancy. Shows are also plentiful and take place across the park. For those guests who haven’t had quite enough, up close and behind the scenes tours are available for many of the most popular animal exhibits.
