The parking was a little tight. When trying to exit the parking lot if you were parked up front, it was difficut to get out b/c people checking in blocked our car and a couple ofthers unloading and[More]
checking in as we waited.
Also not enough room to eat breakfast,if there were more than 4 people, you had to go to the room down the hall to eat. Somewhat inconvienent. [Less]
I visit San Antonio once a year for an industry conference. Typically, I will stay closer to the Convention Center area, or at least that side of the town.
This was my first stay at the Staybridge[More]
Suites, I am pleasantly surprise that:
1) the walking distance from the hotel to the Convention Center was not as far as I thought - a pleasant 15 min walk;
2) I had to experience this part of town (closer to the train station),
The hotel is definitely value-for-money (I booked three rooms for myself and my two other colleagues). I didnt have much expectation for the breakfast selection, so nothing really bad to say about this - its the typical American breakfast selection, which was good enough for me to kick-start my day.
The gym was small and cosy enough for my needs - I know some may feels its too small, but hey, it works if you want to have a quick work-out.
Perhaps, as a suggestion, the hotel may want to give IHG points to its members if the member elect not to have his room clean daily - save resources.
I would recommend this hotel, and will definitely book this on my next trip to San Antonio. [Less]
