The twin island country of Trinidad and Tobago is the place to visit when you want to spend all your time outside. Trinidad tends to attract the nature lovers, while Tobago draws in those who enjoy the beach. For a chance to see and observe the national bird of Trinidad and Tobago, the scarlet ibis, head to the Caroni Swamp Bird Sanctuary. You can also see more than 400 species of this area’s native birds at the Asa Wright Nature Center, along with various species of butterflies, amphibians and reptiles. Tobango has several gorgeous beaches. Man O’War Bay is a great snorkeling spot, while the waters are revered at Store Bay, as well as their shoreline stands selling delicious island foods. Pigeon Point is the typical Caribbean beach with its clear azure waters, white sand and coconut trees. But being typical doesn’t make this beach any less beautiful.
