I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is very conveniently located by car a couple of minutes off the A9, though it's worth checking on the internet beforehand to make sure you take the first[More]
roundabout and go round the back to reach the car-park or you will head past it. What impressed me most was the friendliness of the reception staff, who made sure my family had everything I needed on arrival. For example, a cot had been provided in the room for my one year old daughter. The room, while not huge, was immaculate and looked, in terms of decor, as if it had been recently refurbished. My wife was impressed at how clean the room was. The shower worked fine and there's a good arrangement with the toilet, which has its own door to separate it from the shower/bathroom if someone else is using it. Not all the channels seemed to work - there was no BBC 1, but I was able to watch that channel in the reception where there's a breakout area and bar with seating.
The breakfast was good in the morning and again we were provided with a high chair by one of the staff before setting off. Although there was a restaurant next door, it's worth driving 10 minutes into Perth as there's a good choice of restaurants. This budget hotel is a perfect stop-off point on the long road journey to the Highlands. [Less]
