We had decided not to travel to Gatwick Airport in the morning rush hour and travel the day before at a more leisurely pace. I preferred to use the Airport North Car park and check our cases in the[More]
night before our flight. The staff were so welcoming and really worked as a team (surely a bench mark for all hotels to aspire to). Reception was very well organised with no sign of checkin chaos. They gave well informed advice, with a full knowledge of the airport facilities, travel times etc. Our twin room was immaculate and very well presented, with lots of space, chairs etc. The staff that worked in the main restaurant. were even more efficient and should be congratulated for their welcoming efficiency. (Though a word of warning, not to sit under the cool breeze of the air conditioning in the ceiling). Very extensive menus and quality of food a surprise, especially breakfast. The team made sure that every table was cleaned away rapidly and made sure they had their guests best interests at all times, eying all the tables as they walked through, never a wasted journey. Again, isn't this how waiters are meant to present themselves. Congratulations to Holiday Inn and the Gatwick management for creating the perfect hotel environment. We will be back shortly and look forward to our stay, even though it will be the end of our holiday. [Less]
