Our Norwich hotels will put you right where you need to be, whether you desire easy access to the medieval city center, the Norwich International Airport, or the train station.
Located about two hours to the northeast of London, Norwich is the major city of East Anglia and the gateway to the peaceful Norfolk Broads—open marshlands often enjoyed by boat.
Orient yourself quickly by locating the Norwich Cathedral spire and the solid, imposing façade of Norwich Castle. Both were constructed soon after the Norman Conquest of England in the 12th century and lie within a short distance of one another, making them ideal additions to any day’s itinerary. Across from the cathedral is Elm Hill, a perfectly preserved medieval street.
Bordering the central retail district, Norwich’s airy Forum hosts the Millennium library and Tourist Information Center, while the Norwich Puppet Theatre provides innovative family entertainment year-round. For more adult fare, the 1300 seat Theatre Royal hosts a wide variety of traveling performers and musicians.
If you’re itching for some retail therapy, then you’re in luck! Norwich has established itself as one of the UK’s top shopping destinations. The Norwich Market dates back to 1071 and its large collection of stalls makes it the largest open air market in the country. Popular stores surround this area, while the Mall Norwich is cunningly carved into the hill below Norwich Castle.
For soccer fans, the Norwich Canaries make their home on Carrow Road. Just be sure not to root for Ipswich Town, Norwich’s archrivals.

As Platinum Members and Canary supporters we always try to book this hotel whenever we have the opportunity to get to a home game. We live in Cornwall and it's an 800 mile round trip by road but we[More]
manage to get there every couple of months (more recently by train).
For the last match of the season we decided to use our reward nights points so booked on line. We had the usual friendly greeting upon arrival but the surprise came when we went to our room. We had been allocated The Canary Suite, something I didn't even know existed. Apparently it was a "thank you" for our continued loyalty. Absolutely wonderful stay as usual and good to meet up with some of the friendly staff, in particular Nimrit (Johhny) who, along with all other team members, make us feel very welcome. We will miss Alburn but I understand he is remaining within the Holiday Inn group. We were there during his first week at Carrow Road.
Thanks again for your wonderful service and see you in the new season IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!! [Less]
"A pleasant experience right from the start. Easy parking"
As a wheelchair user I found access in and around the hotel very good.
My 'accessible' room was large - especially the bathroom! and very comfortable.
It was a little chilly but it was easy to[More]
increase the temperature.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner, but my son, who is vegetarian had extremely limited choice on the menu.
However, at breakfast there was plenty to choose from for everybody. [Less]
