I would stay there again. I forgot my earplugs which I normally take when I travel. The breakfast was really quite good.
When I checked in the woman at the reception desk asked for my credit card.[More]
This annoyed me because I had prepaid for my room. [Less]
I travel about 30 days a year, staying mainly at two different hotel chains.
The Holiday Inn Express at Tucson Mall was a pleasure to stay at. My family and I were staying over for the Easter[More]
The hotel outside is well kept and the main foyer is very welcoming. The hotel front end staff were not as warming as they have been at other HIG locations, usually are greeted by exuberant friendly outgoing staff.
The room exceeded my expectations both in comfort amenities. Need a microwave in the room.
The hot tub and pool were clean and maintained, unfortunately there were no clean towels available on the rack Saturday evening.
The morning buffet was well stocked and clean, with a few different choices than some of the standard fare at other HIG's, it was a welcome addition. Sunday buffet should be open till 11:00 though.
Really, overall, a very decent hotel. [Less]
We recently spent over a week at Staybridge Suites, Tucson Airport and hated to leave when our vacation was over! The staff came to feel like family, especially Liz at the front desk who was[More]
especially helpful throughout our stay. The property was spotlessly clean and obviously designed to be ultra-comfortable. We loved the outdoor space which we used every day (pool, patio, hot tub and lots of seating areas in both sun and shade.) We made use of the complementary laundry facilities (twice) and really appreciated them. The beds, bedding, and pillows were SO comfortable. We were never disturbed by planes taking off or landing at the nearby airport; we did hear them during the day or when we were out at the pool but we never heard them at night. We also heard no noise from the hall (or other suites) when we were inside our suite. We had a hot breakfast every day in the dining room and found plenty of great items to choose from. We visited the social hours a few times during our stay and loved the beautiful freshly-made salads. This was our third (and longest) stay at a Staybridge Suites property; the other two stays were just a night or two, and on the east coast. We had looked at renting a condo for our time in Tucson, but Staybridge was a much better value, with better facilities besides. Staybridge Suites is now our first choice for travel accommodations, because although you may be in a strange city, you still feel very much at home. [Less]
