Hotels I've been to before would always have available outlets by the bedside whether it be in the nightstand lamp or just an outlet on the wall. This hotel room had none within easy access. The[More]
closest one without moving the bed or furniture was an outlet mid wall about 8 feet away. my charging cable was 3 feet and it wouldn't reach the night stand. I guess it's my own fault for having a short charging cable. They did have a nice outlet on the desk lamp which was nice, but why not add an outlet on the night stand lights by the bed side?
Also the air conditioning unit is either too strong and loud or just loud. But is necessary otherwise the room would get too stuffy inside.
The location outside the hotel can get a little sketchy at night but otherwise it's quite safe in the hotel. Keycard access to the elevator is needed when going from lobby or parking to your room.
The lobby for check-in was hard to see when driving in it's the door on the right but it's hard to see and there isn't a sign. You can park on the left.
I wold stay at this location again, the location is convenient for where we would go in downtown LA. [Less]
"Fantastic location and brilliant customer service"
Special mention goes to Omar. He made us feel very important and welcome even during a very busy time at the front desk. Omar also gave us great tips on locations that we wanted to visit.
service was also fantastic. We didn't have to wait long to retrieve our car.
We stayed in the newly renovated king suite. The room didn't have a lot of natural light but it was very clean and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was quite saggy and squeaky [Less]
The room was renovated. Air was fresh without smell of Casino. Bathroom were clean.
The only negative was the executive floor staff were not that eager to provide snacks. I came in 7's pm and all the[More]
snacks were either dry (disguising) or gone. It doesn't end until 8pm so I ask for re-make of the empty one and he refuses. There were no sushi and I was told they will have. *I only ate a pc of eggroll, that's it! Morning breakfast at the lounge were so-so. I thought that staff make the breakfast for his convenience, putting the left-over ham in crossiant. It is missing quality. I would expect scrambled eggs, sauage, or fresh ham (not left-over from night before because the evening snack also serve sandwiches). There were fruits but pineapple were sour. Nobody touches the muffins it looks like from Walmart packs.
The room itself makeup the bad of the lounge. That's why I gave it a '5'. [Less]
