California’s wine country is a beautiful place to spend time, and Paso Robles is no exception. Translated as the “Pass of the Oaks”, Paso Robles is a calm and quiet escape, where days are long and unrushed.
Wine tours are the main attraction here, with ample opportunity to savor a glass of local red and hear the stories behind the area’s many unique producers. Learn the history of winemaking and meet the friendly faces behind the labels of some of your favorite bottles. For a unique way to see the valley, head out of your Paso Robles hotel and take a hot air balloon ride and let your worries be carried away on the breeze. Dust off those golf clubs and play a few rounds on a nearby course or walk for miles uninterrupted in Morro Strand State Beach. Take a short drive to Morro Bay for sun, sand and the chance to see some of the local marine wildlife up close.
Back in town, attractions like the Charles Paddock Zoo offer more opportunities to meet furry friends and creepy crawlies, while the Children’s Museum will keep any young ones you’ve brought along for the ride entertained and smiling.
When enjoying the slow and easy life, keep things simple and book your stay at one of our IHG hotels in Paso Robles. With friendly staff, comfortable accommodations and a price you can afford, you won’t spend any wasted time worrying about whether you’ve found the best value for your dollar.

While the room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the pool area was nice, the employees really set this stay apart. They worked with me to get a room location we wanted and were very[More]
attentive. When we asked for advice on hikes in the area, they listened to our questions and printed out maps for us. I asked about a specific winery in the area (Eberle) and they not only described the wines and grounds, but also gave us a 20% off coupon for purchases there, which we gratefully used. On checkout day, I asked if we could possibly get an extra two hours (2 PM), so that we could cool down in the pool after our hike and leisurely shower and pack. It was no problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I am in the area overnight. [Less]
