On the northeastern part of the United States lies the charming state of New Hampshire — a wonderful vacation destination.
For the summer vacationers, go to Hampton Beach for a little fun in the sun. Build a giant sand castle, work on your tan and then cool off with a dip in the clear blue waters.
New Hampshire has two scenic drives worthy of your time and gas. Mount Washington Auto Road is eight miles long of pretty views taking you to the summit of the Northeast’s highest peak. Along the 34-mile scenic road of Kancamagus Highway, also known as The Kanc, travel through the 800,000-acre White Mountain National Forest and see gorgeous trees, waterfalls and mountain views of northern New Hampshire.
You can also tour Castle in the Clouds, the mountain top estate of Tom and Olive Plant built back in 1914. This enchanting country estate sits overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee.
