We are located directly across from the entrance of Newark Liberty International Airport, where there is public transportation available to downtown Newark's attractions, New York City and the Meadowlands Sports Complex.
There will be parking fees for any reservations made after January 11, 2013 if you are parking a car at the hotel. The rates will be as follows. Reservations for 1-6 nights, the parking charge will be $10.00 per car per night. Reservations for 7-29 nights, the parking charge will be $7.00 per car per night. Reservations for 30+ nights, the parking charge will be $5.00 per car per night.
Complimentary hotel shuttle to the Secaucus train station is available from 7AM to 10AM and 4PM to 9PM, Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays and the Friday after Thanksgiving. Shuttle is a minivan seating 6 passengers (babies required to use car seat). Shuttle cannot accommodate groups larger than 6, and they may be asked to use a taxi service.

the restaurant/lounge at night was awesome, and the breakfast team ( i wish I wrote their names down ) were incredible as well.
The front desk team worked hard to meet all needs. Seemed like they were a little overwhelmed at times, like management was not supporting them. Also noted ladders in the lobby and drop- off area outside front door at inopportune times, like maintenance was going on that should have been finished.
Anyway, as a IHG menber who has stayed at this hotel almost once a year for the last 13 years, I will continue to return as long as the service staff is in place. i mourn the loss of old friends at this establishment but flourish in the glow of my new friends. the poor guy at the front desk had no way of helping me since he was alone. He worked hard to find a solution, but he had people checking in, others complaining that their TV didn't work, phones ringing, etc. After trying to problem-solve the hair dryer situation, he ended up giving me a key to an empty room that I could use in the morning. I can't believe Holiday Inn would leave a large building like this to one person. There should be 2 people on at all times to deal with situations that come up. Very poor management decision. [Less]
