Excellent, comfortable stay. The entire facility was bright and welcoming. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. My room was on the side adjacent to the busy road so the traffic was only[More]
slightly noisy, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I'll stay at this Holiday Inn Express again soon! Thank you! [Less]
This is fast becoming our ABQ home.
We got another 1-room suite for this visit. Always nice to spread out a little bit with the extra space. We didn't eat in much, as when you are in ABQ you[More]
definitely eat OUT, but when you are there, it's nice to have coffee and other smaller items at your disposal.
Desk staff was very polite this go-round. A minor blip was that we requested a top floor room quite a while ago, but for some reason, the hotel was ultra-packed this time. We got a first floor room, which ended up being better than anticipated, and only one evening did we hear thunderous footsteps above.
The exercise bike in the fitness room still had resistance problems (see my November 2014 comment, although I didn't put up a big fuss). Maybe I'm the only one who wants to ride it.
There is a pretty vast TV lineup, but you don't realize how far TV has come until you see most things in standard definition.
One minus about New Mexico...smoking is banned in most public places, which is good, but the odds are you'll have to walk through smokers to get through any door. Maybe there can be one or two designated smoking places on the property?
Enough about any negatives. The bed was quite comfortable, the room was spotless, and you just feel at home when you are here. The breakfast spread and coffee are awesome and most hotel amenities you could ask for are above average.
We look forward to our next visit. [Less]
