You might feel like you know New York just from seeing it so many times on screen, but when you really step into the bustling flow of culture, food, fashion, art, and more, you’ll really know why so many consider Big Apple to be the best city in the world. And at the end of the day, there are plenty of New York City hotels to choose from by IHG.
Take some time in Midtown and get a good look at the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and Rockefeller Hall. Children are always enthralled by the American Museum of Natural History; you won’t be able to drag them from the amazing dinosaur and oceanic exhibits. You won’t want to miss out on the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where every collection in this vast gallery is worthy of a museum in and of itself. While you’re in the area, a stroll through Central Park is practically required. Spot iconic monuments and statues throughout all 850 acres, or simply settle onto a bench and watch the people pass by.
If you’ve got shop-a-holic inklings, make sure to explore New York’s countless boutiques, or simply head to China Town and haggle for a good deal. For lunch, fuel up at famed Katz’s Deli, one of the last of its kind, for a Reuben sandwich, and maybe an egg cream. New York is home to just about every dining experience, from gourmet dining in fine settings to that lip smackingly good hole in the wall.
No trip to New York would be complete without a trip to Times Square. Stroll through the square in the evening when the lights are brightest as you head to any one of the many dazzling musicals that are always playing along Broadway. Then load off your souvenirs and settle in for the night in the great accommodations and perfect location of your IHG hotel. From friendly staff to cozy rooms, you’ll have everything you need to make the most of your stay when you book one of our IHG hotels in NYC.
