There will be parking fees for any reservations made after January 11, 2013 if you are parking a car at the hotel. The rates will be as follows. Reservations for 1-6 nights, the parking charge will be $10.00 per car per night. Reservations for 7-29 nights, the parking charge will be $7.00 per car per night. Reservations for 30+ nights, the parking charge will be $5.00 per car per night.
Complimentary hotel shuttle to the Secaucus train station is available from 7AM to 10AM and 4PM to 9PM, Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays and the Friday after Thanksgiving. Shuttle is a minivan seating 6 passengers (babies required to use car seat). Shuttle cannot accommodate groups larger than 6, and they may be asked to use a taxi service.
The location of our hotel is in the heart of Brooklyn. Walking distance from Brooklyn Metrotech, Barclays Center, BAM, DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Promenade, and over 10 Subway lines within a couple of blocks that can take you anywhere in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Fulton Mall right in the corner of the hotel. Perfect spot for lots of shopping. Very close to many restaurants!

housekeeping, where we could only leave a message and they did not return the call. We called again and were told that the room would be looked at. No one got back to us. This must happen frequently in hotels, yet no one was willing to take responsibility for the problem and inform us. Other hotels have found things left in the room and just mailed them to the home address without a phone call having been made. The hotel has an old grand feel about it, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was good, the bathroom was a little cramped and dated but the bed was wonderfully large and comfortable. I think the hotel was closing shortly after our visit for refurbishment so maybe the bathrooms will be updated. We had a room on the 6th floor (one below the top) and we faced onto a busy street but heard minimal noise.
I do hope then they refurbish they don't take away the old charm of the place because it really is a little haven in a very busy city. [Less]
