Stayed at this hotel for three nights and it was pretty good. The breakfast is ok, it's the usual offering of fruits, cereals, pancakes, muffins, and sometimes bacon. The room was comfy, I stayed in[More]
a king bed room on the 4th floor and it was very roomy. My only issue with my room is that it smelled funky around the bathroom and the sink. I think it's the carpet because of water or some fluid that just didn't get cleaned up or dried up properly. It wasn't a big deal for us since you couldn't smell it from the bed. It does seem like it's specific to that room because I stayed here before and I didn't have that problem. It's located right across a mall so you have plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose. The decor is a bit outdated but if you just need a place to sleep, this will do. [Less]
My wife attended a conference in downtown Dallas but we needed to stay in an IHG property (we were using reward points) that was pet-friendly. A quick review of the Dallas-area offerings revealed[More]
this property. It's a little older, but we could tell from reviews that it had been recently renovated, and the rewards price point was great, so we booked it.
Great choice! The hotel was great, although the lobby was a bit drab and outdated. The owners, however, spent their renovation money wisely by pouring it into the rooms. Nice furniture, comfortable couch, chair and bed. Big flat screen tv with plenty of HD channels.
The front desk staff were really friendly and even upgraded me from a studio to a one-bedroom suite, which was a welcome surprise.
Plenty of restaurant options nearby and an easy 15-minute drive into the heart of downtown Dallas.
Book with confidence, folks. [Less]
