San Antonio is an incredible sight for sore eyes. It seems you can’t turn around without finding something that will have your jaw dropping and your hands scrambling for your camera. Add in Southern hospitality, and you know you’re in for a wonderful trip.
Take a memorable walk through the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, a wide-open green space where you’ll find the trademark towers and arches that the area’s missions are known for. Remember to take in the Alamo as well – San Antonio’s best known mission and the scene of one of the most storied battles in American history. Crane your neck at the San Fernando De Bexar Cathedral and marvel at its hallowed halls. For more incredible architecture, visit the Majestic Theatre, which boasts an impressive domed ceiling and lavishly decorated walls. The city is rich with opportunities to admire creative works, including the San Antonio Museum of Art and the McNay Art Museum, housed in a Mediterranean-style mansion worthy of a tour in its own right.
Nature lovers and adrenaline junkies alike will enjoy touring the jutting spires and curious formations below the earth’s surface at the Natural Bridge Caverns, where you can pan for precious stones, race across a zipline and feel your way through the dark on a caving adventure you won’t soon forget. Take in more of nature’s best at the Japanese Tea Gardens or stroll through the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.
Kids will love spending time at the city’s aquarium; Sea World and the Zoo are also guaranteed favorites. For more family fun, head to the Children’s Museum or stare wide-eyed at the oddities to be found at Louis Tussaud’s Wax Works. Shop for new fashions at El Mercado, dust off the golf clubs at a local green or dance the night away at a downtown nightclub – the choice is yours.

It was really nice to have the suite with the separate living area from the bedrooms. We did utilize the kitchen a few times which was very convenient. There are only 2 chairs for eating which is not[More]
enough for a suite. The hotel is very close to Sea World and Six Flags but we didn't visit either. Swimming pool was OK. Outdoor patio furniture was nice. Breakfast was good. Not just ceral and bagels but eggs, sausage, texas shaped belgian waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Overall I thought it was a little expensive but no other hotel offered the suite. The staff was very good. Very helpful and prompt service. [Less]
I visit San Antonio once a year for an industry conference. Typically, I will stay closer to the Convention Center area, or at least that side of the town.

Suites, I am pleasantly surprise that:
1) the walking distance from the hotel to the Convention Center was not as far as I thought - a pleasant 15 min walk;
2) I had to experience this part of town (closer to the train station),
The hotel is definitely value-for-money (I booked three rooms for myself and my two other colleagues). I didnt have much expectation for the breakfast selection, so nothing really bad to say about this - its the typical American breakfast selection, which was good enough for me to kick-start my day.
The gym was small and cosy enough for my needs - I know some may feels its too small, but hey, it works if you want to have a quick work-out.
Perhaps, as a suggestion, the hotel may want to give IHG points to its members if the member elect not to have his room clean daily - save resources.
I would recommend this hotel, and will definitely book this on my next trip to San Antonio. [Less]
