This hotel is 5* in ALL respects. I have no hesitation in recommending it. I had one of my best night's sleep here and the breakfast was great. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and my stay at the hotel was a very pleasing experience!

During October, my wife and I stayed in four IHG properties (two Intercontinental and two Crown Plaza), as well as two other international five star brands while in Japan. Our experience here was the worse, by far.
Most of our frustration with this property came from check-in. The front desk, while polite, was very confused. Our reservation was for a “King Club Room”. This was clearly indicated on our confirmation email. We were first given a standard room and were told that breakfast was available in the restaurant. When showed that the email confirmation indicated a club room it took three people 20 minutes to change our room.
When we got to the room it was small with two single beds. Back at the front desk, I was subjected to an “upsell” attempt to a suite. I explained (several times) that I only wanted the room that I had booked. After more group discussions we were given the correct room.
In total, it took nearly 90 minutes to get into the third room. While everyone was polite, I did not feel that anyone really cared about the arrival situation. For example, there were no phone calls asking if the room was acceptable or a note from a manager apologizing for the confusion.
Check-out was also confused and took too much time.
As an aside, this is the only one of the four IHG properties that did not send an email survey request.
